  1. Single barrelled Hushpower silenced 12 bore shotgun. Model is a Diana. It has a few small marks on the stock and there is a bit of lead inside the silencer. Good overall condition. £150 Located near Penrith, Cumbria. 10 mins off junction 40 of the M6.
  2. I was just going on what I think I wrote when I did mine 3 years ago. On hindsight and from the other responses I would go with .22 rimfire and .22 moderator.
  3. If you write down e.g. .22 LR bolt action (or semi auto) in one box, then below it put .22 LR sound moderator. Same for bigger calibers. If you need a reason for the mod always say hearing protection.
  4. I wouldn't worry about it too much. If it's not worth much then don't bother spending money on it. My o/u has a pitted bottom barrel and still shoots ok.
  5. I knew different makes had different thicknesses but I never really though about how they would fill differently. I guess if I worked out a good individual mix for the main cases I have. I have about 3 or 4 different breeds of cases and about 40+ of each. I suppose the other way is to find what works and see if I can swap the others for what works with someone who they work for.
  6. Is there a difference in terms of accuracy between different cases. E.g. if I were to reload say a winchester, a norma and a remington case, if everything else was the same would they still shoot the same. Also what are the best cases for longevity? Are Priv cases any good? Cheers
  7. As i thought mine in Cumbria is a blue firearms and a beige shotgun.
  8. Where did you get the camera and lens from? Any chance of posting some links? Also where did the markylight come from? Cheers
  9. I just use BBC weather website. It always seems pretty accurate for a couple of days in advance. With living in the UK no forecast is very reliable after 3-4 days in my opinion.
  10. I'll have to go and look what colour mine is now. What colour are shotgun certificates? I have a feeling my firearms is blue. Two weeks is very quick. I think mine to about four weeks and that was pretty good by most standards.
  11. I bought a pair of Carl Zeiss jenoptem 8x40 binoculars of ebay. I think I paid £30 or £40 for them. They are old fashioned and a bit heavier than the newer ones (I need to get a harness) but the quality is really excellent. I use mine for stalking and would defiantly recommend them.
  12. I am currently trying to make one. £99 seems ludicrous for what is essentially a tube with a iphone case screwed to it. There seems to be a few people who have made one. I'm just trying to find the right size bit of tube at the moment. The idea of it is a good one. Like you say to able to replay your shots is a handy tool. I'm not sure if I would use it for shooting deer, at least I would have to have confidence in it from shooting some rabbits first.
  13. Hello all. I live in Cumbria, although originally from the South. I have been shooting for 5 years or so. Shotguns and rifles. I have recently been trying to improve my .243 and my shooting with it, pillar/epoxy bedding etc.
