a freind of mine had a 3/4 grey 1/4 staffkeen as any thing about 25 in real quick / agile too sadly died from choking trying to eat its kennel

thanks lads it needed to be done,she had a liver shunt not nice,

regretably after months of anguish ,today I put my bull cross to sleep, she battled like a good 'un but to no avail,every day seemed to become a slug to get out of her kennel and i could watch it no longer, just seems a waste at only 7 mths. Took her for one last walk on our permission to say goodbye. R.I.P LEAH Roybo

cheers buddy my misus makes sure that buddy!!! as well as cooking them an extra dinner every day but touch wood she's been ok for a week they prescribed food, £50a bag dog food and a/b's but fed her 3 times a day on same food and she's been ok , hope she's worth it £500 @vets so far I hope so

mine are simular to lucky's except at the sides i've used concrete posts & gravel boards, if I was to do them again i'd use steel on the front as one dog i've got chewed through the front in a day Roybo

just like to say lads not all "townies" are anti hunting, as not all country folk are pro. I come from a town,and love most field sports. Aneighbour to one of the farms i use has phoned the old bill more than once,when we were out lamping,saying stuff like gun-fire keeping her awake(silenced .22),digging whats illegal (digging to ferrets) So lets not just blame anyone but the labour government who were trying to appease their back-benchers

FIRST VET I SPOKE TO SAID IT WAS POISON 2ND SAID FITS 3RD SAID LIVER SHUNT 3RD ONE SEEMS MOST CLUED UP,BUT SHE LEFT THE PRACTICE TODAY SO if the 3rd one was right may be able to manage with hills kd ?nearly £50 a bag don't think she'll work when she's old enough though

WOW cheers for that link dawn! it's not certain yet whether she has a shunt or not but thatsite certainly gives me a lot to go on trouble is as some people will empathise with is she was bought hopefully to work,and not having endless kennels, time and resources,i'm begining to wonder if it's going to be fair on her.many thanks Dawn Roybo

can anybody recommend a low protein diet for my bull cross? as some of you now i've had probs with my bitch,now the vet thinks she may have a liver shunt,and recommends a low protein diet , at the moment ive been feeding beta greyhound but moved up to beta active because of the extra fat content due to the cold weather thanks in advance Roybo
