  1. yes mate, 15 year Beardie x's 32 year collie x's all together. what attracted you to the beardies mate, and what type of hunting do they suit - it might be a stereotype but ive always thought of them as more independent than the border x , hunting further ahead ? also harder headed and probably would have been better suited to the fox job in days gone by ? any truth in that?

  3. Why waste your money,couple of farm dogs and some heavy bull xs would do it in uk,I would suggest ABs but try finding a decent temperment without health problems in one. id imagine a strong lurcher brought up doing that sort of work would take to it like a duck to water
  4. i like to nip over there couple times a season with a lurcher, pull half a dozen over a weekend - few san miguels then back on the private jet home
  5. i was lucky enough to go to hunt for a weekend with GWH and their pack and we had some great huntng and terrierwork, good laugh and the warmest of welcomes - i would gladly go back

  9. Bred a litter 2 1/2 yrs ago. Touch wood most are going very well. Stupidly I didn't keep one back (long story) Mine are now nearly 6 &7 so by time a pups ready they'll be slowing up so could well breed them springtime

  13. fawn bitch wheaton grey with bit of bull (CH breeding) dark brindle dog 3/8 5/8 wheaton greyhound (bred in yorkshire)
  14. were Foxy and Dilly classed as wheeeler stuff? They were just nuttal bred.Derek didn't even own foxy but he was behind what became known as wheeler dogs especially Charlie. righto, remember seeing an old b/w pic of someone holding them both
