    In the field, you would be ok to leave a HW100 cocked.... but like everybody says ALWAYS clear the breach and leave it unloaded when ever your storing it ...

    Nothing to worry about Mark, we all have had the same concerns when we get the visit..... Most FEO's are nice people and all like a good cuppa. All the questions i was asked were simple enough, just use common sense and you will be ok.

    I have a S400 FAC, easy dial between 7 - 38 Ft. will easily do what you want and no need to swap bottles.. 35+ full power shots each fill.

    .22lr surgical & quiet kill, or a Boom stick ... the choice is yours.... what ever you buy im sure you will like them both... Just one tip, BUY CHEAP BUY TWICE. Have fun shopping...

    You will get a good chance to talk to the FEO, on the 5th and clear things up. 17hmr is a much faster round and will be less prone to ricochet i agree, but you should also take into consideration sound and cost of rounds. either way you i would expect that you have good backstops ( even more so with HMR due to its extended ranges ) so it does seem strange. A well placed shot is all you need. .22lr you can plug bunnies all day... .17hmr one shot and they all run for the hills !! let us know how you get on.

    Does sound like a mistake.... my FEO cleared land for .22lr and said that .17hmr would not be suitable .. i would ring and re - check.. who is your police authority ?
