    In the work, that i do as a day job.... I train loads of people and you do get a 6th sense on people.... but i do agree with Duncan that Mentors should have some kind of protection "if" things go wrong at a later date !! After all its the FEO's that are insisting that mentors are used ?

    True, but being sensible.. i would like to have some help & advise from experienced people. As i do think having a rimmi is something that you should take very seriously and its always good to have some friendly advise.. i just want to be a safe and sensible hunter !!

    yea, already spoken to Duncan and he's been a great help, with loads of advise... he's already offered to take me out this week !! just dont want to hastle him, as he a nice guy. im just trying to cover all aspects...

    i know you dont have too, BUT "if you want a FAC and they insist. Then there's not alot you can do about it !! i'm just trying to cover all aspects, so that fingers crossed i will get a FAC. my main problem is "if" im asked to be mentored....... how the hell do you sort that out ?

    i'm told that its getting more popluar for mentoring, when applying for a FAC for the first time... so.... my question is, how do you find one ???? Anybody in the Buckingham area, that possibly help me ?

    What do you mean "you can apply for as many as you have the land and quarry for, i would add 17hmr and mod to the list aswell mate, youve got 5 years to get one " can you not apply at a later date for a 17hmr ?

    looking at the cost of a rimmi, then it would be a cheaper option than a FAC Air. and i do need to upgrade..... just not sure the best approach with getting a FAC.

    Sounds like TVP are asking for mentor's before they consider a FAC, but how on earth do you find one ? or do they have a list of people.......

    Yea, thats also a consideration... Very true ! What are FAC Air like ? what sort of killing distance can you expect ? i also expect that the FLO, would favor a FAC Air more as a first application ?

    Hi Guys, Im thinking about applying for FAC posibly for a .22 rim. I have been vermin shooting on a livery yard for 4 years, with a <12fp PCP airrifle and not i think its time to upgrade ! never having a FAC before what do you guys suggest ? how hard would it be to get a FAC, in the BUCKINGHAM area ? The problem is that for the last year or so the land has seen increasing bunnies, and as there are horses on the land. its important to keep the numbers down. The land is about 100 acres and the land owner is happy for me to control the bunnie population. As i have been there for 4
