  1. think they are nylon, got them from the local fishing tackle shop, green in colour
  2. just wondering whats the best type of net and weight of net you guys use, the ones i use always seem to snag and catch every bit of leaf, twigs etc, any advice to combat this please

  6. went out for the first time this season, took a young lad with me whose been pestering me all summer to take him out and show him the ropes, showed him how to net up holes etc, and he was really keen, only got one fluffy tail but two did manage to bolt, through my own fault, but then again we all make mistakes, gonna take him again as hes so keen, and his dad is a farmer so i may get some new permission there, i let him have the rabbit, coz he loves eating them, will let you all know how this young lad goes on in the future, all the best this season for everyone
  7. bit young to be honest, id wait till they were about 6 months old, it may put them off if they get a good kicking whilst chasing a rabbit

  10. my 3 yr old albino hob wont eat chicken for some reason but eats any other flesh
  11. if all else fails tempt him out with a piece of meat, that usually does the trick
  12. just got in from work and went straight to the ferts, my jill dont look to well, shes going off her legs and trying to go toilet all the time, can anyone enlighten me on the prob, rang the vets but cant do anything till tomorrow, shes eating and drinking fine, just not like her to be like this as shes always so lively, and she still is but keeps falling about.
  13. hi , is it possible to make purse nets out of a very tangled up long net, went to sort my gear out yesterday got the long net out the garage but its been moved about that much in there by my stepson that its totally tangled, spent two hours yesterday to sort it but to no avail, any help on this would be greatful, atb for the season guys

    my hob hates bedding, he drags it all out and prefers to sleep on bare wood in his hutch

    give mine rabbit, chicken, pigeon, ox heart, biscuits, egg but only the yolk, give them lacto free milk from any supermarket, mince beef, mackeral, mine get milk every other day and never had the shits

  19. hi, im thinking about starting out to do long netting on the perms i have, never done it before, and dont want to go out and buy the gear, until im shown how its done correctly, is anyone in the east midlands area willing to let let me come along with them to show me the ropes on long netting, all posts will be answered, many thanks for taking the time to read this ad, cheers tim

  22. i always clean the birds i get, ie pluck and gut, also freeze it 1st as it gets rid of any bacteria the birds maybe carrying, mine love pigeon the most though
  23. the whites off the eggs gives them the shites and they dont tolerate them
