looking for two jill ferrets, either this years kitts or two youngish ones, can travel within the east midlands, manchester, liverpool, blackpool or london areas, please help me out, many thanks

not enough vitamins etc in dog biscuits, they should be fed the proper ferret biscuits as they cant digest them properly, give mine a egg yolk once a week mixed in with lacotose free milk, they love it, never give them the whites off a egg, pigeon breast and leg, mince, ox kidney, pheasant, rabbit, cheap stewing steak and you wont go far wrong, look on freecycle for a hutch, if youve got one in your area, its where people give stuff away, hope this helps you in your adventure, contact me anytime for any info, atb mate

my jill gave birth 17 days ago, she only had the one, that im aware off unless she killed the rest, thats not the problem though, picked her up about an hour ago to check she was ok, and ive noticed shes come back in season has shes swollen, or is this an infection, its her first litter and im a little concerned, any info will be gladly be appriciated, atb tim

went a ride out yesterday to see if i could get some new land to hunt on, first farm i arrived at about 15 mins drive away, knocked on door and introduced myself, told the farmer what i do, didnt mention anything about guns, just the ferrets, asked him if i could do some ferreting on his land, he turned round and said dont see many bunnies round here, so i said ok and thanks for your time, and sorry to bother you, turned round and headed for the car, got about 50 yards away from him, when he shouts me back, he says to me you dont use a gun by any chance do you, my eyes lit up, yes i replied bu

yes first time, she gets raw meat everyday, whats usually the size of the kits when born, this is the first time ive bred my ferrets, the kit is just a bit bigger than a mouse

well ive checked today to see how many kits my jill had, she gave birth last thursday, shocked by her only having one, is this the smallest litter ever, its her first litter

just a quick question lads, is it ok to feed a ferret raw chicken, ive never fed it in all the years ive had ferrets, but have fed day old chicks which are raw, any advice will be great, atb

ive never feed mine before i take them out hunting, never used a collar or locator and never lost one, get her used to a certain noise at feeding time and then use that when out hunting, handling her every day will stop her nipping you, atb

just got in from doing some chores, went out to the jill to see if shes ok as i hadnt seen her all morning, got near the hutch and heard a noise, so went back in and got her some milk, put it in with her and out she pops, to which i hear little squeeks coming from the nest area, my little girl has given birth at last, hurrah :thumbs:
