  1. Well not sure yet. There's been a bit of an outcry by dog walkers and locals as our presence deterred fly tippers and 'funny stuff'. Some are also unhappy the trees will be clear felled, scrub cleared, fenced, rented out and horses put on for grazing, but I suppose it'll be better than it being neglected. I've been offered three different bits of land but as the damage to the door has rendered the caravan insecure and uninhabitable (bit drafty) we're rather stuck. Old site needs a final clear, the chairs and a bulk of the other stuff were fly tipped and re-purposed by me, so I've arranged a
  2. I'm presuming those are rhetorical questions posed to strengthen your opinion and view point. If you would genuinely like to enquire how we chaps exchange money and air rifles, how my money was accumulated and saved through employment and fulfilling local contracts etc, by all means raise your hand. I only say this as it seemed like you got a bit upset and felt ignored earlier if i remember correctly. Apologies if mistaken... 5. Bollocks, your full of shit. Got evidence for that claim? Unfortunately for your bollocks I can provide birth and death certificates, enlistment and discharge papers and absolutely no degrees or diplomas. Even mine and my children's reading list. Now where shall I direct the freezer box to? The taxidermist likes my trophies fresh see. Just wondering where to mount them. Going by your reaction, I'm thinking I could probably fit them in the caravan...'travel size'. Hahaha just 'yanking your chain' big guy.
  6. Feck the bailiffs make him eat them  Ah I get your previous comment and pun now. "Pans out" was a cooking suggestion! I like that. Better ask the chef where she keeps the fava beans and the fine chianti...
  7. As my word is my honour; My mother died suddenly when i was sixteen. I left school and enlisted straight into the infantry and served in the then RGBW regiment until my discharge following the birth of my first child. I have not completed any further/higher education to date. I do love to read, a love and appetite that has been passed down and my children share. Hand over those bollocks WILF. If you need assistance, I'm sure a volunteer will step forward.
  8. If those bollocks you're betting are your own (no need to verify ownership in this instance tah) then I accept your wager WILF.
  9. Tah wurz, the blog would be boring without my 'dramas' hahaha. Have a great christmas chum.
  10. Thank you Elliott. Whilst the ship is in 'dry dock' i'm going to take this opportunity to make repairs, overhaul and refit her (my 8 year old won't stop growing!). Same with the poor neglected Terrano. We'll be voyaging on soon. Even if its in a council house. God I hate the idea but have to admit it has merits what with winter an all. Best wait til the bones fall before trying to read them.
  11. Bless you Roger. Don't feel sorry though, "life is a stage..."! Nowt like a good bit of drama to get you up in the mornings!
  12. Cheers Archie. Can I stay with you for a week? (Don't think I'd have the stamina to stay longer). Hehehe Bit of a squeeze mate, especially bath time........ Archie. You have washed away the hurt BIG G wheton machine so deftly and cleverly inflicted. I like you Archie. I love my partner very much, but if any of your friends happen to be the only daughter of a land rich father could you put her in touch? It'd save me ALOT of hassle and potentially a few beatings...(though maybe not from my current partner) hurt???? ya couldnt cut you with a knife

  14. Thanks dytkos. As for forums, I'm a member of 2 other air rifle and 1 bushcraft site. The failure of my email to receive reply notifications has caused some concern for my well being! Add to that, replying from a mobile phone made things time consuming.
  15. Ahh Davy! I'm so sorry. I had no idea anyone had replied (even gave a hoot) on AAOC. Has been rather hectic lately. Really touched by your concern chum. Means a lot mate, you've obviously got a big heart. Thank you Davy.

  17. It still surprises me she agreed to come with! I would've done it sooner on my own and I know I would've lost out and been much the poorer. "Happiness is not real unless shared" - Chris McCandless.
  18. You're quite right. I was certain the land was unclaimed when we moved.40 years of occupation by countless different individuals may be to blame for that. Locals i spoke to after I was approached told me there was no way in hell he had the deeds, though he acted as though it was his. I took the notices etc as the usual 'noises'. Now I and the locals may be right. He may not truly own it and be in possession of the deeds, but the rich b*****d "satisfied the courts" so yes, what chance did i have. I will say this though. I regret nothing.
  19. they drew first blood  and won  His 'Lordships' Mr Amaury and Mr Detmar Blow in their Soviet helicopter hovering over the brook, leaning out firing bullets in to the water milegajo has just dived in to, as the helicopter flies lower and lower over the brook while his Lordships are firing in to the water. Suddenly milegajo leaps up from under the water, grabs the gun, tips his Lordships oot in the brook. Milegajo throws the bailiff pilot who broke his door out of the helicopter and takes over it. The second bailiff leaps to his death from the helicopter. Flying back to
  20. Not an accurate analogy. In fact, way way way off the mark. But, I think I see the point you wish to iterate. My honest answer? Once the surprise and wonder of how the devil you squeezed it all onto 5mx5m. I they'd feel indignant. I'd be damn impressed.
  21. Not going to argue with that. I don't fully agree, nor was it the intention, but can accept that may be the perception of anothers. I desire a house. Happy to build one. Capable. No money. Unused land. Lots of wood and stone. Was a good project that kept me busy. Hurt the back a bit but I slept well after a days hard graft.
