  1. That'd be great, if not ideal for me. I find I'm happiest outdoors amongst the big green. Limited, location wise, by my partners desire to stay close to her aging relatives.
  2. Thanks scothunter. I've got a fair amount of adjusting to do in the coming days. Best wishes to you in your endeavours as well chum.
  3. I agree with and appreciate all of what you've written there. Yes, our daughter did go to school leaving mostly due to severe bullying at the school she transferred to in Wales.
  4. Haha! You've got over two years of adventure and waffle waiting for you on the blog baw! I used to be normal...
  5. I may disagree with some of the above, but that wouldn't mean you're not right.
  6. I think i'd be in a cell if i were that easy to goad. But no judgement from me! Baiting the misguided fool is pure entertainment for all. Look at Jeremy Kyle! It's "put his kids through college" as our American friends say. I respect your difference of opinion baw, I believe its valuable to have your views challenged and tested. I also don't believe "you're all b**tards". Just some lol.
  7. It appears we have our differences baw, and that's great. What's greater is I agree with you on this point, I'm still surprised on occasion by that powerful and solid stalagmite that is the morning stonk on. The mrs is too if I have my way...
  8. Seems a bit of a random and unrelated thing to put that, but nice to know paulus. I agree.
  9. A bit early for erections isn't it? I don't understand what you've said there, apologies.
  10. Gosh baw, If even only half of the above were accurate, you may have had a point.
  11. A Bitter Blow - 11/12/12 I followed the plan to the letter. I rose early to tend to the chickens. I armed the sentinels. I made certain to visit the bucket! Then I retreated to await my fate. The caravan was dark and very cold. The edges of the windows were misted with frost and rivelets of ice became the bars of my pathetic 'fortress'. But an ember of hope, deep deep within my being still glowed. Still believed. After an hour of anxious waiting it burned hotter. It sputtered when at 09:10 the mercenaries and their master, the self proclaimed "Rural Dragon" (see Cotswold Life!) Mr Am
  12. Any date prior to the 11th I'd have most likely been able to respond with a nice encouraging rally full of hope etc. I'm fresh out right now. Check back with me later. Best update my signature. For some light reading about a man who lived in the woods for a while... Not got quite the same ring huh.
  13. Going to let things unravel at the minute. We've got lots of options. Think it best to let the bones fall before trying to read them. Part of me wants to leave the van in dry dock for refitting and overhaulling, my 8 year is fast outgrowing her bed. Plus, the blooming door needs fixing/rebuilding. Lots to do and consider but peice by peice we'll get 'there'.
  14. I wonder if Wales, Scotland and Ireland are aware of a 'Writ of Possession' to help evict the English? Worked well for Mr Blow. In fact those two strong fellows were Celtic sounding. One was called Mr Thomas. Nice chap it turns out though he won't be getting a christmas card. Terrible at picking locks though. Wish I'd thought to offer them some of my semtex biscuits...
  15. Upon reflection, living in the woods and substituting human contact for cyber interaction may not be the healthiest thing for me. People don't seem to insult me, my views, my lifestyle and my low income bracket so much in the 'real' world...
  16. It does suffer from frequent 'commercial breaks' I've found... But never fear my less controversial friends! Miles may be here full time due to recent developments. Just you wait, he'll be piped up n plugged in on his hand me down computermabob with super fast non mobile internet bringing you more thought provoking, though significantly less hunting related material for all the hours he's awake! Now ive said that, I can't be arsed.
  17. Put that to the A-Team music and change the graphics to country side sports, evictions, and a few gratuitous explosions (possibly from redneck distillations) and you're onto a winner I'm on it! Coming up on "'Dirty Gypo' TV"....
  18. As regulars will know, I have views that often invite spirited and stimulating debate. When the forum gets dull, I admit i derive great entertainment from stirring it up a bit. Ordinarily I can participate in light humour and without resorting to sarcasm. After the day I've had (moving house and all!) I'm a bit tired and struggling. Please accept my apologies to all, especially Mungler.
  19. Cheers Archie. Can I stay with you for a week? (Don't think I'd have the stamina to stay longer). Hehehe
  20. Great isn't it Mungler. You're going to make lots of friends here I'm sure... Such sharp insight and lightning condemnation of your fellow man. Wonderful.
