  2. Forgot the name of it tho
  3. Chalky and the boys 3 out next month and a real good one is the one GM made has nipper joey etc so e real classy animals
  4. Personally I'd maybe put a collie cur over her I think It would suit your way of hunting (going off your posts) some thing that will give the pups a bit more of a coat and most of all a dog that is doing what you would want in a pup and a little extra height as you say you would like. Just my two pence worth
  5. That's a lovely dog jcm my kind of terrier. My terrier was a right pain when she was younger, she was no trouble when it came to entering cover in fact it was usually harder to get her out of cover, at one point i thought she might have been deaf coz her recalll was naff but glad to say that she's okay now... well most of the time anyway. atb daywalker. Cheers, this dog was the same mate. took a long time with his recall but I'm well happy with him now ?
  6. Cheers pal, he has and still is serving me well
  7. Gafer he just lurcher x lurcher the bull comes from the dams side no idea percentage
  8. Cheers lads he has had a couple rabbits up to date but I'm keeping him back till next season, carnt wait ?
  9. And my other dog my pups sire ?
  10. I just ran him thro with my lurche that used to hunt cover well but now I have the terrier he has learnt to stand at the side lines and reap the rewards. I'd try and bring a pup in with another terrier but also take the pup out by its self abd try take it to a small patch that's hokds a few rabbits and it should click on time but remember pups mature diffrents so be patient
  11. Not long gone 9 month standing around 22-23tts at a guess
  12. Never had a problem with him not entering cover more obedience and just used to permanently hassle the runner but now he is out of that stage and a pleasure to own his recall is spot on most the time and he has dropped in once or twice but has been called out luckly for me as a don't carry locator or spade
  13. how tall jcm Bout 14-15 at a guess mate

Cheers for the advice lads, it will not be me training it as its my pal who is getting one and I'm sure it will get trained to some degree, we are hoping to get it out with in our pack at around the 6 month mark once or twice a week and in sure it will also be worked by its self. We will try and work it to its advantage as we hunt all diffrent types or land and cover. Let's hope it fits nice into our pack and we have many of years fun with them. Our pack of dogs consists of 2 terriers and 5 lurchers ?
  16. Bump this back to the top as it is one of the best posts on this site, anymore pics to add lads I'll be adding some over next few days. ?
