    yeah he is going to be a racey type but with strength both parents are decent fox dogs so hopefully he follows suit, I need fast type dogs round me and where I go. He does go through stages where he seemes to fill out abit then grows etc

    Stan is around 5 1/2 month old now. The Black and Tan dog in the picture is 21tts and as you can see the pup is a fair lump

    I use 9.5 steel and they are just as good as any other ammo aslong as you get head ahots which if your hunting with a catapult you should always take a head shot any other shot could wound and cause unnecessary suffering

    Few lads asking how the pup is getting on. A couple pics taken today of my young dog (Stan) 5 month old yesterday, haven't done a great deal with him just letting him be a pup with a couple small walks to tire him out abit otherwise he is full whack round the house. Done a bit retrieving with him, in a confined area he will retrieve every time take him on the field tho and you ain't getting the dummy back at all. Really like the pup if I'm honest, not a chewer and generally well behaved in the house.

    Alright guys, I'm looking for a well bred springer pup next year around summer/ autumn time. Due to building new kennels. Thought I'd ask around and do my homework well in advance idealy a smaller type springer. It would be used along side terriers and lurchers on a daily basis. Id prefer a dog pup but the other half wants a bitch and she is boss ??. Let me know if you are planning a litter that will be due or ready to go around this time

    Looking to get a springer pup in next summer/autumn to run with a couple terriers in our little pack and flush game to the lurchers. I will be looking for a bitch pup out of good dogs doing the above. Looking for a smaller type with a more athletic appearance as I'v seen a couple that look like barrels not fussed on colours and I'd like it to be a pedegree but again I'm not to fussed if it was the right type I'm looking for. I'll be useing it as a general mooching dog aswell as picking up birds shot with a catty and a bit ratting. I have considered a springer x but I'v yet to see any wo

    I'd prefer off, I used to hunt a lot of woodland with my dogs and the old lurcher has smashed his up a fair few times even ripped the nail clean off but they still grew back

    Looks a big pup in that picture mate!! What size is he at now? Mines growing a lot slower now, creeping just over 20" i'd be surprised if he makes much more than 22" which isn't a bad thing his drive is sky high for a young pup ! He's about 22-22.5 tts atm mate, he will be 5 months on the 14th His growing has slowed abit and now seems to be putting the weight back on so he may well start growing a little faster he still has loads of knuckle left and I'm expecting him to make between 25-27tts.
