Had a good do on the long tails today ending the day with 103, was just me and my pal today with two terriers and 2 lurchers.
I always take a lurcher or two with me on a days ratting and they catch most the ones that try to sly away whilst terriers are digging away.
Many on here take a runner or two on a days ratting ?
I'd post a pic of the end count but keeps saying image to big
wasnt the original jack russell terrier , a parson leggy type , bred to be able to follow the horse/hounds , with its extra height . ive always preferred a parson type jack , if i was ever going to get one .!
Comes down to preference really don't it
The one on the right is a saluki grey, he's about 2 years old and 26tts, but a first season dog and my mate who owns him has put a lot of stuff infront of him and he has been doing very well.
The one on the left is my pup he is saluki bull grey on both sides, I'll be starting him next season and hopefully he makes a handy dog
How's that bred fella looks a real nice type that fella ??Beagle cocker x beagle terrier mate. Foxpack who used to be on here bred him Out of his dog Brian. Think the whole litter are doin well at a young age. I'm more than happy with mine massively exceeded my expectations at his age.
Aye seen a few of his posts he seemed to be out plenty with them
From my experience the older dog normally puts pups in place.
Don't forget it's a very young puppy and sometimes what you may view as aggressive behaviour from s pup is more play just with the added growles, all the pups iv had have pulled on the older dogs neck ears etc and growl whilst doing it but if the pup hurts the older dog it will be out in its place.
Look st s litter if pups they pull each other to bits and make a racket but it's just all rough playing.
I wouldn't worry to much but if your older dog is getting fed up and not doing nothing about it then you should step in and
