Been neglecting the old dog so far this season as if been putting alot of time into my young dog but with him been laid up with a toe injury I decided I'd take my little old dog out for his first nights lamping this season. We had a good night 35 accounted for but unfortunately 5 were misplaced at a gate to be picked up on the way back to the motor. We just couldn't remember what gate we had put them at. The little dog managed to take a phesant also so the final count was 35 rabbits and a cock phesant. Everything taken tonight will be put through the mincer and mixed with a few other meat

I get out at least 4 times a week. Been stuck in for 2 weeks or so now with the dog having a knocked toe, I could still use my older dog but after a nights lamping he gets realy stiff on one leg and limps realy bad so I tend not to lamp with him as much and keep him for notching ratting etc. What I would give to have him from a pup again

There a guy on fb who works his bedlingtons above ground bushing etc but does a lot of ratting with them I'm not sure if there kc but they resemble the old type

No he is saluki bull grey. I did have a black bull type what was outa my black and tan dog but he turned out to be a one trick pony and a yapped. It was a shame but I rehomed him down the country to be used day time which would of suited him more

Flat cap beddy whippets is a very good friend of mine and he hasn't bred a litter from his own bitch for a good while now however I do know that a lad from Newcastle way is going to use my pals dog over his bitch again as a repeat mating as from what I gather all the pups out the litter are doing well. If you pm me I could put you onto him Thank you - upon consultation, Newcastle is just a bit too far I travelled over 7 hour round trip to pick a pup up. There should be no where In country to far. The sake of a tank full of diesel and a few hours drive.

It's been a while since I posted in this section. If been realy busy with the young dog until last few weeks he knocked his toe up so it's been a fortnight off and just started giving him some small walks on the leash unroll he is fully recovered then straight back to where we left off. How's the litter off first maiting going any pics etcI have 2 from this litter mate and I am more than happy with them already and they only 13 months old. Certainly live to hunt. You won't go wrong with a pup out of a repeat mating im sure. Any pics of yours ?

Lads I havnt posted in here for a slagging match I'm after a pup and willing to consider any pups bred by who ever aslong as there outa working stuff and the lads are genuine with me. I'm looking to get a pup from the start of the year to the middle so like a said I will consider all pups bred similar to spanial x beagle if there available at the right time etc.
