i asked the same last year when i applied for mine bein self employed doin pest control i wanted it for work, they told me unless i had contracts in place to use the rimfire then i would not get it, unless i put i wanted it for work and own use and had to supply land? but maybe different in youre area

i currently work for myself doin bird control on a landfill gives me plenty of time to fly birds . but before when i worked in pestcontrol i would fly my harris on the lamp a few nights aweek then hunt weekend also any night i didnt go lamping due to weather i would do exercises like jump ups..

i use my spainel and sometimes the ferret with my mhh, but like u i mainly hunt on my own so its usually my spaniel thant i take..

did think about a van first of all but i need the 4x4 really. with that td4 is that the bmw engine mate i was told to keep away from the freelander have you had much problems with it mate yea the td4 is the bmw engine whicjh is in any model after 2001 year, its been a good motor aswell not bad on fuel get nearly 40 mpg on a run.. but the wife uses it more than i do i use the van more much better on fuel.. same as most thought you get good ones and bad ones..
