dont know what would be a starter bird all depends what quarry you want to fly but a nice female pere/saker that way you can get her killing aswell..make good corvid and gull birds
  6. you would be better of joining a falconry club near you , you may even find someone local there ,that can mentor you as theres quite alot to know before getting on and the training will be on going.. for you and the bird..
  7. quite a few raptors would take corvids if trained to do so

if you have a good experinced mentor on hand ,i think you need to look at what you want from your bird,i.e. what quarry you want to hunt,if you want to fly with friends ,what land you got? all bird are fairly easy to train but like the other guy said they are also easy to fuk up aswell.
  14. one of my farms has started to cut his fields so me and a mate went to have a go at some woodies, we picked these up but there must have been nearly 10 we couldnt find,, realy must look into getin a gundog... make life alittle easier. good enjoyable day had though
  15. i used to have a few lurchers and terriers but they have all past away now i just have these 3
  16. try googling for any falconry centres near you most of them will do training or know someone that does
  17. im sure its the higher bar you want to go for, to get more fill.. but maybe wrong
  18. shame you didnt check you sights before you went ,may of got some extra land, there plenty of place where a airgun is more useful than a rim fire ..
  19. nice one, i havnt been lamping for ages cant wait till crops are cut..
  20. usd both, and both are good guns..
  21. nice one .good size bunnies them
  22. for ferals at night the lamp does not need to be that bright as you aretalking 30 yards max and usually considerably closer and you dont want something so bright you light the whole place up. so maybe something like a profile maglite or a tesco torch could do the trick but why do you want a bipod for pigeon shooting? bipod for bunnies. whats these tesco lights i keep reading about... anyone got a pic also how do you mount them to the gun?
