Hi Burnsy I have a 4-12 x 50 on my .22LR and its fine up to 150 yards ( but i only shoot to 100 yards) It has a clear optic but as soon as the light fades, so does the performance and if you want to shoot low light, you would probably be better off going up a grade My two penneth Andrew

To check out shotguns I would go down to your local clay pigeon shoot and buy a couple of lessons. You will get good advice and sensible planning, and you can try a few clays while you are there. Don't forget clays can be shot by all the family. (all except the very youngest) Andrew

I was watching Rules of Engagement on E4 + 1 this evening (8/1/2014 at 17.30-18.00) and during an intermission (of which there are many) there was an animation of a shooter, made ridiculous by big teeth, and also wearing a tweed jacket and smoking a pipe. This animated man was shooting ducks. Then a great big E4 sign came down and crushed him. End of story.
