  1. I did ask him this question once and he said he doesn't agree with all labour policies but overall he thinks they are the better party, or something along those lines. Spot on That was talking about the current hunting ban though, not sure where socks has got the idea that they're going to ban hunting rabbits with dogs from and not sure where this thread I haven't replied to is either
  2. From the tone and phraseology of the quoted piece, I'm guessing you didn't lift that from the Daily Mail ?Did the link I posted to the full article in The Guardian not tip you off to where it came from? Here the Daily Mail's take on the story http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4614938/Red-Cross-Grenfell.html
  3. Council sidelined in Grenfell Tower response as leader refuses to quit https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/jun/18/council-leader-nick-paget-brown-grenfell-tower-response Utterly shameful response from the leaders of the local council, if they've any decency they'll be handing in their letters of resignation first thing Monday morning.
  4. Post it up for everyone to see, I know I for one am dying to see this PM I apparently sent you
  5. I'm on a phone digging somebody up on their spelling and typing is worse than admitting defeat. Poor wee fella. The fact you see posting on the internet in terms of victory and defeat says an awful lot about you kiddo. It's supposed to be a bit of a laugh! Properly sad
  6. It's cute how your typing gets all jumbled when you're excited, kid
  7. Hands up who's donated to a homeless charity since viewing this video?
  8. Unless that new found awareness of homeless folk Francie has (really? You think he wasn't aware of homeless folk before this video?) translates into him putting his hand in his pocket to help the homeless it's done nothing to help the situation has it.
  9. Raising awareness doesn't do anything to help his situation though does it? They could have set him up in a flat with the money made from the video. Or even donated the money to a local homeless charity to help even more people. The difference between slacktivism and activism
  10. Banned for use on buildings over a certain height from what I've read.
  11. Francie's tears won't buy the poor bloke shoes If you're going to exploit a homeless person for views on your monetised YouTube channel the least you can do is give him his cut, it's just the decent thing to do.
  12. 5.2million views, that video must of made them a fair chunk of change, assuming it's real I wonder how much of that money they gave to the homeless guy?
  13. There wasn't a single Tory MP who voted yes on that amendment to the Housing Bill http://www.publicwhip.org.uk/division.php?date=2016-01-12&number=162&display=allvotes&sort=vote
  14. This is GL's theme music
  15. Grenfell Tower cladding is banned in the UK, Chancellor reveals http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/grenfell-tower-flammable-cladding-banned-in-uk-philip-hammond-germany-us-a7795696.html

Beyond weird that, it's fecking sick
  17. Revealed: the tower block fire warnings that ministers ignored https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/jun/17/tower-block-fire-warnings-grenfell-victims
  18. Erm, the local government has been under Conservative control since 1964 and of the 16 members on the planning committee only 3 members are Labour. Good little list that's been doing the rounds on social media, shame no one bothers to fact check these things before sharing them
  19. It's a Tory controlled council and has been for years and up until June 8th the MP had been a Tory for years too.
  20. Over 100 buildings with the same cladding I heard on the news, feel for anyone living in one of those buildings I wouldn't be able to settle knowing what could happen... Surely the best option is to just remove the cladding and replace it with the fire resistant stuff though?
  21. All of my properties are occupied, I don't own whole blocks of flats that are left standing empty pal.
  22. If I was there I'd have probably helped all I could, that's what stand up chaps do......but I wasn't and neither was any of you so I won't cry crocodile tears for mostly adults that I didn't know, didn't want to know and that I didn't even want polluting my country. You can have a dig at my faith all you like, I know what I am boys But as I say, you are all entitled to your opinion. I've no doubt you'd be one of the first in line to help if you were on the scene regardless of who the victims were pal, as you say that's what stand up chaps do but I'd equally say the decent thing to do is not
  23. Not very Christ like to not care about someone just because you can't understand them though is it pal? You're supposed to ask yourself "What would Jesus do?" and I'm sure checking the skin colour and faith of a person in need before helping them isn't the answer...
  24. You had your little dig at Theresa May. Other might not but I see you for what you are. I shared a relevant newspaper article you total fecking doughnut
  25. Apparently it's classed as flammable in Germany but not over here, that makes it sound like there's separate standards across the EU though which is strange.I thought the whole idea was to have a single standard on everything. Aye me too. Here's the article where it says it's rated flammable in Germany but not here http://metro.co.uk/2017/06/16/why-is-cladding-banned-in-the-us-and-germany-used-on-buildings-in-the-uk-6712578/
