  1. Arron Banks isn't very happy at all.
  2. Fair play as excuses go that's a good one! I'll let you off It's just a shame so many folk only realised how terrible FPTP is when it was too late. Like I said earlier AV could have been the first step towards real reform but instead the result has just been used as proof that reform isn't wanted or needed
  3. I remember both India and Australia saying almost straight away that they'd want to see immigration rules for their citizens relaxed as part of any trade deal...

    Any clues ?

Now that I would pay to see!
  5. I just hope the UK government's negotiating skills have improved by the time it comes to making trade deals with other countries because if what we've seen so far is anything to go by the likes of America will have them over a barrel and taking it dry...

    Any clues ?

Worse and more expensive ways to spend an afternoon! Do you think you'd get kicked out for laughing?

    Snow.

I assume you got a pic of this most perfect set of prints you've ever seen? Get it up for us to see!

    Any clues ?

I blame cuts to mental health services
  9. A lot of folk were fooled the same pal, I even had folk telling me they were voting against it just to stick it to Clegg over the tuition fees debacle! A once in a generation opportunity pissed away Remember the ads? "He needs new body armour not a new voting system" with a pic of sad soldier. Well he got fecking neither did he!! At least you've learnt from it and can admit your mistake though, hat is off to you for that Voting for Cameron thinking it'd be an end to Blairism though... I bet you wish you could go back and give yourself a slap!!
  10. RONNIE f***ing PICKERING
  11. We had a chance at reforming the electoral system and threw it away. Admittedly AV was a shitty option but it was a stepping stone to better things but now whenever the argument for reform comes up the result of that referendum can be waved around as proof there's no appetite for change. How did you vote in the AV referendum out of interest?

    Any clues ?

Clear, indisputable proof that Yetis exist!!
  13. The point of that post. Your head. As for your bin not being emptied well thank the cuts to local government funding. How was your collection service before those cuts were enacted? So now you're not calling for us to walk away from Brexit negotiations you're calling for violent revolution. What do you want to replace the current system with if democracy doesn't work?
  14. Aye thanks to massive state intervention in many aspects of life during the war and the building of massive social programmes including the welfare state and the NHS after it. Something tells me you wouldn't be too happy if that's what we end up with after this. Like I said earlier, be careful what you wish for
  15. What's positive or "glass half full" about saying things are so terrible now they couldn't possible get worse and the only way to fix them is to burn it all down and punish folk with a few years of suffering before starting again? Folk losing their jobs and homes and struggling to put food on the table is the medicine the country needs and the only way to fix things according to you, not much positive or optimistic about that really is there? I'd say the positive, "glass half full" position to take is that things are bad and we should work towards making them better without the whole bur
  16. I'd say the folk saying things are so terrible we need to burn it all down and start again because things couldn't possible be worse than they are now are the ones who could do with being a bit more positive....
  17. Get out and hand your man card in at the door! You too kanny!
  18. I think it's another symptom of just how relatively good we have it these days despite the complaints we all have, folk who say it couldn't get any worse should look back in time at just how bad things can really be!
  19. Suddenly I'm all for walking away with no deal right away! Seriously though it's a good point the accelerationists should think on. There's no guarantee that the society that is rebuilt after breaking it all down would be one they'd be any more happy with than what we have currently.

You'd need a Dangerous Wild Animals licence, the requirements will vary from local council to local council the only way to know would be to ask yours. I imagine the absolute minimum would be a secure outdoor enclosure and public liability insurance but how secure that enclosure is and any other requirements will be totally up to the licencing officer in your area. The council area they live in is obviously pretty easy going about who they hand licences out to because they're clearly fecking muppets!
  21. So we should at least explore negotiating with the EU to avoid the possible negative economic impacts of leaving then, providing it doesn't compromise on democracy and freedom. So, exactly what I've been saying the whole time!
  22. I'm used to arguing against accelerationism with nutty Communist/Anarchist student types who would be insulated from the effects by daddy's money but I would have thought normal blokes with experience of the real world would see how ridiculous that line of thinking is TBH. How much real world suffering by the average bloke in the street would you be happy to watch? How many kids going hungry and losing the roof over their heads to "break it down and start again"? What if after all that we end up in the same place we could have got to with sensible negotiation? Surely it's worth exp
  23. So let's make things even harder for the average blokes to teach them a lesson? Nope I won't be going along with that. So let's break it a bit more!
  24. And why would you want to make that struggle even harder and more far reaching?
  25. Seeing folk losing their jobs and struggling to put food on the table for years while we try and rebuild would be right up my street? Erm, no. Make no mistake it wouldn't be the "1%" that suffers it'd be the average working man.
