    Here is a little gutting knive Ive made , It needs metal polishing more ,, To be too the standards of some of the knives on here I only paid for the glue on this knive using unwanted or use metals,I had to grind the blade holes has it was to hard to drill or mill.. sorry if its on wrong post ,I just wanted advice on polishing of metals ..

    If You use varnish It makes cattys too slippy in my view,,so oils soak in better nd dont leave a slippy sheen on wood, teak oil or linseed are cheep nd easy to use,

    I hunt with 10mm ammo It will kill most game easy .. If you put the size of 10mm to a man in comparison to small game? what size would 10mm be to a man It would be like a orange to a man,I understand that bigger hits harder , But I keep thinking of the adds a car traveling at less speed won't kill. As the add's say,,so faster hits harder Its complicated as there is the pendulum effect plus the weight of every ammo must also be measured ,,, so Ive decided 10mm is the best size in lead I find it kills most small game also you get more shots ,, more shots more chance of hitting something at

    So if you have a posh catty does it kill the game better ?Would you fight the ranger for your £20+ catty theres is a lot of fashion in cattys like on a catwalk?(bitching for sales££££) While I do like the look of a good made catty some just dont shoot right others are a joy to shoot ...Alot of ppl are taken in with fake vids or silly speeds on chronographs that are from 5 steps away. You cant get that close to game in the field

    I have use dankung Its ok it was the thicker round back stuff ,, So dankung could shoot lead all day ,Ive used the thin dankung that needs to be doubbled on heavey ammo anything above 12mm lead is heavy , Ive tryed square black nd also square red Its ok but has not got the kick at thera band gold ,,,But it will last longer ,, Ive tryed thera band green tubes and Its alot better than dankung in the two sizes Ive tryed cant remember the numbers of the dankung,I am wanting to try thera band tube red ,, I am up for any trades swaps or just buy enough red thera band tubes to try ,,It realy does ha

    Jim I thought the dub dub was fishing elastic .. I use thera band green its got alot more kick than this dub dub .. Ive only used orange in dub dub and it snapped after 20 shots the thera band green is still shooting 10mm lead ? please could you explain why dub dub snapped so easy Jim as Ive no idear how anyone can rate this dub dub for hunting :whistling:

    I changed the fishing mould as they need too much lead cutting off also a vice to clamp them.. So I asked a mate,a cnc tool maker to make me a few moulds.. They do work better warm

    I use a extra bit (about 8mm) of tube put round the thera band on forks to stop wear nd tear,also to speed up the ttf style of shooting.It works for me ,But everyone shoots differant maybe I will add some scollopes on the inside of my forks ...I like to try things myself I can never trust anyone who tells me or states This is a must or this must be done.. I have to try it myself just to see what they mean ... This is my biggest fault... lol

    Have you tryed them flats tapered? I can tell you dub dub orange wont fire 12mm lead very far :whistling: I would sooner get squares they last far longer too ..There are loads of elastic's to try, not all suit everyone
