  2. i like the borders and russells but i always believed that as long as it works thats all that should count and by work i mean digging too
  3. i know the majority off yas would prefare to get dogs from proven stock but do any of yas start your own lines up by cross breeding the different types and if so how did they produce? im a firm believer that the working terrier could start anytime but it would take a lota wasted time and effort to get them up and running. but surely if a terrier from non working stock starts working then it would be worth a try because surely the 1st terriers to ground came from non working stock.do any of ya think similar?
  4. i know theyre a good tool but i always prefared the deben it was always looked big n chunky round the dogs neck. i always likened it to getting into a boxing match with mr t necklaces on lol

  8. the one my mate had was called frank i think he was bought in fintona came with a trial too, the dog was an absolute belter game as they come we had many a great deep dig to him was 100% reliable. he bred him to a patterdale bitch of nuttal breeding and most of that litter flew in the field. he kept a pup from that litter called him jack and was a spit of the dad and he turned out cracking too but got K I A due to a cave in my mate packed in not long after that.

  11. Thats true alright, i dont think ive seen lurcher's for sale over here any higher than £180 well in the North anyways. Down in the free state they around 200 euro sometimes i think... When i was buying my bull/wheaton/deerhound x deerhound, he was originally for sale i think it was 140 euro, but the man i bought him off was a gentleman and knocked him down to 100 euro because i was travelling a good distance and he also knew he'd be going to a good home Nicole. ive senn plenty of dogs for sale for more than 180 ive paid 3 and 400 for good fox dogs and believe u get what you pay for

  22. the law only applies when caught hahaha i just hate that when any crime that happens in the countryside is automatically blamed on poachers and legit hunters, and unless any proper evidence is produced ill always defend like minded people against the here say bullshit
  23. not everybody with bull crosses are thugs either a lot of my mates have them and theyr no thug, id say my perception of a thug is somebody that hangs on street corners with pit bulls threatening and intimidating locals or by flooding theyre communities with drugs and killing eachother over turf wars and house breaking shoplifting etc not somebody out lamping. maybe if the birtish government didnt give in to the anti thugs then everybody wouldnt have to sneek around, they made a lot of law abiding men and women criminals overnight by giving into thugs and banning hunting. the biggst thug off al
  24. how can ya blame 70% of the lampers unfortunately lamping is part of hunting. yes the odd one doesnt give a shit about what damage or harm he or she does but no way near 70%. ya sound like the cnuts trying to get it banned. the problem is with todays society being brought up in an ignorant britain where food only comes from supermarkets etc etc. the same thing happened with industrial britain everybody just wanted to strike and do f all n when the jobs went over seas they gurned about that too, 70% of britain needs a good boot up the arse n get a grip on reality instead of protesting about wha
  25. If thats what you think tommy then you obviously have not seen a good dog work badger {pre ban of course}. A good terrier wont let a badger run past it but if a badger really really wanted to get through he would! he wont if the terrier is any good at his job. the badger maybe heavier than the terrier but th terrier in his/her mind is stronger and more game and most of all the boss below ground and he will get his guy so to speak. it will make the brock think twice about challenging him to get past .it will learn as it gains experience how and what way to work its quarry but most off all t
