  1. Only thing you've caught is a cold ?How would you no this donutl Because I said so dumpling.
  2. He's doubled in price since I got mine in 98, doubt the dogs have doubled in quality though ?
  3. Only thing you've caught is a cold ?
  4. What's catching regular to you? Err catching most times I took him out, sometimes 2's and even the odd 3. What's catching regular to you??
  5. I had a 3/4 Hancock and he was very handy on Hares, not saying he was a world beater but he caught them regularly.
  6. Didn't you know after all this time? It's me who goes round when you are working away Our local postman has shagged every woman on our street apart from one..... Our lass said it will be that stuck up cow on the corner!!
  7. Never been into getting older dogs as 9 times out of 10 there's a good reason why the person is getting shut, I wouldn't dream of getting rid of a dog if it was any good.
  8. True, but with a pup it's vitally important to spend a lot of time with it to train it up and bond with it. With my job you don't get much notice of working away and sometimes we're away for 12 days at a time. Tbh I'm sick of working away and doing weekends, looks like a paycut and a Mon-Fri job could be on the cards.
  9. Yeah I've done nights before and hated it, even if I had a decent kip I'd feel groggy and ratty. I could never get a sleep in the afternoon for a few hours either, funnily enough just as it was ready to go to work I'd start feeling sleepy and ready for bed haha.
  10. It might be good for the dogs but permanent nights sure isn't for your health, I can't stand the shift personally haha.
  11. Not long ago I lost my old collie cross and have been considering getting a new dog but with my job which involves working away and weekends I'm starting to have doubts. Just curious to see how you guys manage to fit in the time for the dogs with work? I'm really considering getting a local factory job so I can get back in the game, money's not everything in life IMO.
  12. Neither scenarios are far fetched, I personally haven't got the time to try and find out for myself either. Haha.
  13. I don't think that's it's inconceivable that a buck could rise first to deter predators away from its mate, similar things happen in the animal kingdom all over the world. I've never seen this happen but it's not as silly as some people on here make out.
  14. I'd say there's a lot more wastage these days, but the best dogs of today are surely better than good dogs years ago.
  15. It's horrible to think like that but just imagine what the population would be if they found a cure for cancer, who's to say they already haven't? Like you said I can't think of any royalty that's suffered from it??
  16. Exactly if they're intent to break in no dogs going to stop them no matter how big and strong it is.
  17. Tbh I don't see why people need to go for big these big, expensive exotic breeds, an Alsatian would do the job just fine.
  18. I think they did at one point but the Tosa is Japan's national fighting dog. It's still legal other there, they even use Pitbulls aswell.
  19. I've owned Akitas since 94 and they are extremely trustworthy believe me, I wouldn't say they're the best deterrent because they hardly bark. They can be terrible with other dogs, especially big ones.
  20. Not sure either!? That's deffo got bull in it, it's all about the eyes
  21. Try clapping your hands or shout it while it's asleep to see if it responds.
  22. Yeah I'm looking for a dog to work on the internet, your point is? I don't mind abit of banter but Queerman was talking out of his arse.
  23. Yeah pal they're over 4 month old now I think, prefer a younger pup tbh and they're a bit far tbh mate.
