    cheers mate that was the kind of age i was thinking bunnys in one night we are lucky to see in a year round this way lol

    i have a 2 year old dog this is his second season he has had his fair share of bunnys for his age i think he could do better as his striking is not the best i have had mates that have sold a dog on at around this age thinking they was no good but gone on to make good lampers but at what age do you think a dog is in his prime? also if anyone has any tips how to help him improve on his striking that would be great

    hi pal just seen your post i would be happy to come down for a lamp with you i have some permision local to me so if we came down to you then if you want your welcome to have a run up here on my permision i have a collie/grey/whippet

    if we all waited for the perfect weather to go out with the lamp we would be out 3 times a year lol

    i had the same problem with my dog when i started to lamp with him he was yapping every now and again he was about 12 month old try taking him out with the ferrets and get him a few kills by bolting the bunnys after my dog had a few regular mouth fulls he stoped the yapping when out lamping

    i keep my lurcher off the lead as he gets to the bunnys before me and holds then till i get another net on but alot of people i know like them on the lead
