    for the record whippets can an do catch 20's in a nights lamping i have had 1 an done it, dont know if its the norm for a whippet but mine done it an afew folks off t is site seen it, half the folk on this forum should actually get out an see whats possible

    I've used mk3s for the past three years and have only just tried the mk1, definitely prefer it. What don't you like about it? its just unreliable matey, collars break if ferret even looks at water, struggle to get them fixed these days aswell, i also like the search feature on the mk3 saves you walking round or crawling round like a tit waving your arm i have used both an i think i have just got used to mk3 now , makes my life a lot easier i hated having to crawl around under hawthorn hedges but now i got a fair idea as to where the dig is gonna be before i even use locate hope

    have you tried a montane?? wonder how these compare to them, i rate the montane but its not waterproof but as an thermal under a waterproof they take some beating

    mk1 was good, but mk3 is better once you get used to it, the mk1 becomes the pain in the arse

    i think if most the dogmen who do get out an do a bit, an do mix with other folk with dogs, and are totally honest have all had this happen to them at some point, i know i have, seeing a very good dog do its job is something special to watch i think
