    baby died

RIP lad I have to wonder though, that the news article says no arrests were made. A 'pit bull' kills a child, and the family member/s present at the time are charged with manslaughter by gross negligence. When a Lab/Rottie/Staff/JRT does it, no arrests are made. Not saying they should be, just saying it makes you think. Either way, a bloody tragedy. It doesn't bear thinking about
  2. I'm gonna be a pedantic git and say neither. I feed my dogs raw meaty bones, carcases etc and nothing else. BARF is a term/diet propounded by Ian Billinghurst, and consists mainly of mushed up veggies, fruits, herbs and meat etc. Such a diet is awful for carnivorous teeth, and will only facilitate periodontal disease and systemic disease over time My dogs only eat whole animals and/or parts thereof. They've never ever had dried food in their lives, from weaning onwards. The mainstay here is whole meaty chicken frames, lamb breast, pork rib racks, the odd pig head, whole fish etc. Yo
  3. Hi guys, I miss my hens. We don't have a garden any more, but will be moving soon. We do however, have a decent enough sized yard. I've just found THIS coop on Ebay, brand new. It looks the business and has all the nifty features you'd want. External nest boxes, raised sleeping quarters with the pop hole opening and closing from outside the run/unit, removable floor tray for easy cleaning etc. Looks a bargain for £149 brand new I'm thinking of getting a couple of White Stars, Black Rocks and/or maybe an Indian Game cross. I want something for eggs that'll also do the pot
  4. Still wanna buy it scent? Glad you got your dog back without fuss
  5. He looked like a good sort mate, sorry to hear. RIP
  6. Well we all know the 'rare' bit is bollox, but if it does indeed include one of those plastic fangled indoor cage things, then it seems reasonable enough compared to buying new I suppose. Leave them to it I say.
  7. Awesome I hope you feel better soon mate... or not, if it means a day off work and some permish knocking
  8. Thanks lads Yeah that pup's a little smasher mate, I can't wait to see him grown. He doesn't half get stuck in and Gnipper is rightly chuffed with him. Roll on the next one!
  9. Aye, it was a good day all round. She does like 'em when she gets hold of 'em...
  10. Alright lads? You know you've had a good day when you're almost too stiff and sore to type Gnipper and I set off this morning with his 11 year old Border, 5 month old Lakey/Russell and Lurcher (I'll let him fill in the breeding) and my own 3 year old Sealyham/Russell bitch Gypsy. Tools of the trade: My Sealyham/Russell Gypsy checking along the ditches for a hole with someone at home: Ey up, there's someone in :59: The five month Lakey/Russell (Scrappy) and the Lurcher (Scooby) find one: "Yep, I've found one!"... "Me too" Let's dig the dirty fooker out
  11. Depends what product you ended up using don't it? For all you know your PC is currently part of the latest botnet and you'd be none the wiser Or you could be lucky and you found a decent link. More to the point if you had to do it twice, your methods obviously aren't that effective to begin with. I haven't had a malware infection since the 90s lol Personally? After two decades of building, fixing and installing crap on PCs, I'll stick to what I know works and NOT advise newbies to start asking Google how to clear malware from their system as they wouldn't have a cat in hell's ch
  12. Do NOT follow this advice! There are thousands of pages listed on Google claiming to remove viruses, spyware etc. In reality they're nothing more than spyware themselves, taking advantage of your vulnerability to sneak into your system while you're down. Worse still, some will pretend to "scan" your computer, hijack it, then pop up banners every five seconds filling the screen with an ad to the effect that if you want your PC back you have to send a payment to the "company" for the "cure" to the virus you have Check out MalwareBytes Anti-Malware and SuperAntiSpyware for two FREE produc
  13. Chav hard man collars? StrongStuff collars are the danglies mate. Solid, UK sourced and hand-made to order with a lifetime guarantee. I lost count of the number of collars my lot went through before I got mine from A. I haven't paid for a collar since and they still look like new. They're even washable Strong, flexible, comfortable and handy for when you need to pull your dog off some gear. How on earth can they be classified as chavvy? Round here the chavvy dogs wear big black harnesses with brass studs and shields all over 'em, not custom made workwear. In fact, no disrespec

  16. There's some daft folk about I got this link from another (non-dog/hunting) forum I go on. It gets "interesting" on page 2 btw... keep reading. Bloody townies lol LINK.
  17. That G12's a smart looker It never ceases to amaze me how many dogs end up in places like that
  18. Posting this for a local shopkeeper's sister. Her 10 year old lurcher was making a bit of a nuisance around the xmas dinner on the 25th so she tied her up on a long lead outside for a few minutes. When she went back out the dog had chewed the lead and done a runner, and hasn't been seen since I only have vague details at the moment, but she bolted from her yard in CHURCHTOWN, SOUTHPORT on 25th December 2008. She looks like a beddy/deerhound/grey cross, approx 25 to 26" to the withers, and is grizzled/brindle with a rough broken coat and a white chin. Answers to "Kelly" but is wary o
  19. So, NOW I notice the Lost & Found section in General Chat. Sorry guys! Ian feel free to delete this thread, I'll post it up in the right section. Cheers
