Thanks for all the replies and PMs guys. Canine Kennels got back to me saying they've not got the runs in stock and I'd be looking at a 3 week wait, but they want cash up front. With a history like theirs? Yeah, right.... I tried to ring Manley Engineering (their runs do look decent) but they shut at 4.30. I rang at 4.27 so must have just missed them lol Their 6x6 foot run is only about £20 dearer than a 6' x 4' so I'll just grab one of those. Fair enough; just thought it was worth asking. And as I said I'd be paying by credit card if I did order, so no money would be lost. I dunno about the US but in the UK credit card companies basically (by law) take the risk for you. If you lose out, the credit card company has to repay you the money and basically make it as though the bad transaction never happened, at their own expense.

Hi folks, I'm looking to buy a mesh run for the terrier this week; around 6'x4' or 2m x 1.5m. I'd all but decided on the Canine Kennels setup, which was a reasonable price (not much over £300 delivered) but then I saw a few of the threads on here about the administrators being called in for their Canine Leather sub-section. Na what's happened here is some fecker has been hotlinking images and leeching someone else's bandwidth (which costs £$£). Say you put "pictureA.jpg" up, then find some cheeky fecker has linked it into their website or a forum without permission. You'd put (gay?) porn "pictureB" up, but with the same name as the original picture a on your web space. In other words, the "stolen" photo being linked to now shows up as a nasty image on the other person's site instead of the original nicked one. As pointer says, we all started somewhere - there's nothing crap about it! Whether rat or roe deer, 7 or 70, you're giving your dog what he's been bred for and having the time of your lives while you're at it. The first of many now you're 'hooked', no doubt! They should turn up at the embassy wearing bed sheets and say they quite fancy blowing up a few trains/planes/whatnot, down with the West etc, but can they have some Income Support and free rent first 'cos Auntie Taliban is after 'em. You haven't paid yet, have you? They're civil enforcement companies, meaning it's a private matter governed by contract law NOT an official (read: Council) parking ticket. Are you sure you can remember who was driving? The contract (even if it was legitimate, which is unlikely) is between the company and the DRIVER not the registered keeper. If you can't remember who was driving that day (they have no powers to ask or otherwise find out) then just write back saying you have no idea what they're on about and refute the ticket. At that size I'd be giving him whole chicken carcasses mate, not wings. The bigger the food item, the more the dog has to shear, chew and rip to get his food. This means more tooth cleaning and gum massage, which will help prevent periodontal disease from forming later in life. It'll also help with teething, prevent infection and give a quieter, calmer more contented puppy. PETA are scum, there's no doubting that... But I have to wonder how they managed to get popups to appear on the BBC website. The BBC as we all know is taxpayer funded and doesn't carry advertisements, period. I've never come across malware that generates PETA ads, though?! The kids played the exact "game" you're talking about and I've never seen anything like that happen. Did you have any other sites open at the time? Might be worth running a decent anti-malware scan on your PC, like THIS ONE just in case.

Sorry, I can't speak for feeding captured wild mice (though as they're vermin and have to be killed once caught?...). But last time I checked (pre Animal Welfare Act) feeding normal mice live to a reptile is not illegal in the UK unless you cause un-necessary suffering in the process, and/or allow an audience (especially a paying one), in which case it would constitute baiting. In fact, in the case of a wild caught python (for example) that refuses all but live food, it could be deemed an offence to NOT offer live prey (causing suffering by failing to provide an adequate source of food

No, it isn't. The rest of your post makes a good point, however. How big is this Corn and what are his temps? We're just coming out of winter, he could just have decided to go off feed for the jiggy season - especially if temps are a little on the low side. Are mice big enough for him now? Tried medium rats? Is he coming into ecdysis (shedding)? A good feeding Corn will usually continue to be just that, unless there's a good reason. Citroen Berlingo Multispace HDi. As big as a van, square and high up like a 4x4, seats 5 and still has a huge square 3,000 litre boot behind it, and does 60mpg overall. It's no off-roader but it does the job It's a 58 reg though, so my mates take the pee cos it's the dirtiest and yet cleanest car ever lol

Yeah we're looking to move somewhere with a much bigger garden, which won't be hard around here. I thought maybe start out with half as many as I plan to have eventually, to give them more room in the run before we move somewhere they can roam around freely. Still beats the hell out of being a battery hen and we still get fresh eggs of a morning I'd never heard of White Stars before, but they sound quite handy. "Over 330 pure white eggs in their first year" according to the suppliers. Anyone got any experience? I've only kept Light Sussex, Black Rocks and Hisex Rangers before now. W
