  2. but what if the antis are actually anti -antis running with the antis....but the anti-antis just don't know it ..........    :icon_eek: :icon_eek:
  3. once had a fry up with a nest full of starlings eggs which I removed from my gable end.......................wetnt bad really another time I ate some mushrooms for the local park............ and got put in Ward 18 @ scunny general, a day later because I'd become a dribbling and twitching space cowboy :icon_eek: :icon_eek:
  4. I have one wghich is bigger that I bought off ebay......for racoons!!!!! I find it great for keeping the feral puddy cats away from my pigeon loft
  5. i was thinking the same mate 18 weeks thats way 2 young to start a dog off imo thay were droppers mate that's how old i started mine off and i dont think it's to yong for that I would concur with that as long as the other basic training was coming on well. Could I ask what the result was after the catch ...did they retrieve them or ragg them???? If the latter.......such a 'good game' could easily be instilled in the pup...and create an annoying habbit
  6. A coursing Wallabee.......where did you get that from??? Not an ideal size......... but if he's filling the pot...then that good enough is in not?
  7. the old man looks like hes had some action over teh yeasr..the the reds a pearler...best of luck with the pup...dont see many that chocolate colour
  8. those lines certianly threw some stong bully types................interesting read...............
  9. superb.......................the pup looks a sharp as a tack best of look
  10. A very strong looking dog there...... here comes the age old question ................................. hows is it bred???? credit to you anywaY
  11. Good work...........at least you had some sport... I was out last night...its was a great windy night with bunnies sittign well out. I mirror what you say about enjoying different working styles...my two bitches are completely different but effective in their own way............ Maybe get the beardie a droppers or 2 to boost it confidence..................... they soon get dispondant and lack interest if they not able to catch........ also with the fustration comes the dreaded 'opening up!!' I like the saluki...........looks the bizz....
  12. I brought on a lurcher pup and an ESS pup last year at the end of the season rewarding but hard work......especially as they were two completely different types of training. .... Still got more to do with the lurcher..........particularly retrieving Spaniels gone now........ trained him up.....and moved him on
  13. thats a lovely looking dog Irish Lurcher.. ......................looks similar to my bitch....... nbk..............best a look with your search.
  14. ..................................tell us a bit more mate....and assistance maybe forthcoming........ When you say wont pick up.........will it not pick up any fur or feather at all????.......does its chase even???...have you tried it on a dummy with a rabbit pelt on it??..............or even dummy raabit pelt attached to a retractable lead.... loads of suggestion to give.......just need abit more info mate
  15. Alls well that end well....................... I may try it with my bitches as their wieght really fluctuates from week to week... good news buddy
  16. I've took my pup out all this season with experienced dogs...and let her watch....and have given her a few easy slips....in fact shes notched up about 27 upto now. I dont think it does em any harm...as long as they have a steady and controlled introduction to the game....... at 7 months they are still very immature mentally.....but still taking in things like a sponge! ........even though they may have the physical attributes to catch... My pup is just over a year old now and having overcome an annoying habbit running of with the catch..... she has, IMO got the making of a decent dog
  17. logic would dictate that one ought to really use the best proven studs out there..........especailly where money is concerned however........ on the otherside of the coin we should still remember that grafters x grafters dont alway produce good offspirng 100% of the time. and I have seen this from personal experience......and friend had a litter (terriers) bred from the right stuff..........an excellent proven bitch......and an old proven dog....... ......all the pups when they reached adulthood were jibbers..........and wouldnt work food for thougth tho Good dogs are
  18. as a quater bull he'll be very 'fine' anyway......I have had a similar problem recently with one of bitches who has lost loads of wieght and is pissing back passage.....yet hungry as a hog, and still bright. I am currently trying to build the bitch back up, and have changed diet.......re wormed, and feeding twice dialy...so we'll see how she gets on...... worst case senario is it could be an underlying symptom of bowel disease or some intestinal parasite.......... hope you get him sorted
  19. I have a friend who owns a day ticket fishery. An otter has chanced upon the bounty, and has been visiting in 2-3 nightly cycles, and has been pulling out huge 15 - 20lb fish and eating them....leaving the carcasses on the banks...... Very costly problem........... Now I understand that otters may be protected, but surely something can be done. Can it legally be caught and relocated? If so...what is the best way to deal with this? thanks Paul
  20. My old lamping set up has about had it....and I saw the Ridgelight Verminator lamping kit for sale on the net for about £60... any one got any experience of these??.................. seems rather cheap for a full combo to me....but if they're ok.. i may treat me sen.
