Stamina n pace is a different thing, they can run at a hare as long as any other dog, as long as the dog aint a jacker and has the heart, it will put itself through the paces and Keep the run goin.

the Whippet Coursing Club must have been wasting their time for 5 decades, should of asked you before they formed The answer is yes they can and yes they do have enough stamina and no they dont catch as many as other sighthounds try watching this to see a whippets stamina I said they dont have stamina for big winter hare's , and i stand by my word's take a whippet to the fens and put it behind a big winter hare and see what happens whippets have fantastic stamina and recovery time, but not the pace of other hounds

best thing 2 do is back what pups you want then cull the rest then that way their only you taking the risk haha every litter is a risk, the best of workers can bring bad litters and non workers can bring good offspring. Thats the game

Its what you want, both types have plenty of drive n to say whippets dont is far from correct. Mine unbelievable keen!

try taking it back to retrieval training, heard ppl use a plastic bottle with weight in it, training it until it stops biting it hard. back to basics is my tip.
