    A few weeks ago I was looking for a Border stud on here for a nieghbour as there are none local to me. He has decided not to breed now but it set me wondering if many of you work pure borders and if so how good are they. Also do any of you just work borders and no other breeds..............or is the Border another terrier that the Kennel Club has ruined

    my neighbour has a bitch in season now and he is breeding her as he wants a pup as a pet, he doest have papers for her and she just a pet and he is in his late sixtys and not bothered about selling any pups I think he is just sentimental about his dog as his wife got her for him before she passed away. If she does have pups I am sure he would be happy to let you have one if he knows it is going to a good home. If you pm me I will give you his number and you can speak to him. As I said the bitch is only being mated this week so it would mean a wait of several months hope this helps

    yes mate I have a litter of JRs the border is not mine it belongs to my neighbour who isnt on here and his is the only Border I know of anywhere near us. I dont even know anyone with one as a pet let alone working one . He has found one now but thanks for the help
