  15. hello fella . as said above keep your head down for as long as you can and no bobbing your head up and down . they will spot you a mile of. wait till you can smell the sage/onion cooking lol. till you get used to shooting them at the end of the day do some field craft and watch the skiens over a couple of days then get under them if you can. hope this helps.
  16. hello wigan warrior. might be a long shot pardon the pun.but pending the size of your mates fishery you could try putting in long poles with 30/40 pound mono zig zaging across the lake or ponds .because if they come in from above they touch the mono and of they go . it is a lot of work but could save the fish. regards peter.

  19. hello chunk. cant sleep lol. it has been a little quiet for me the problem we have got the river has become that clean over recent years that a hell of a lot of the mersey mud that we had to put up with for many/many years has give way to lots of sand now . not knocking getting the river clean at all great to see. but from the fowling side of things it seems to have gone a little bit down hill. with not so much mud flats anymore for ducks etc to feed . carnt speak for the frodsham neck of the woods on the widgeon etc i have not heard any feed back from there . regards peter.
