hi guys, iv got a mk1 ferret finder that just needs the batter terminal thing solderd back on, other wise good working order, the other 2 boxes the one needs a new depth gauge which have been bought (new) but havent fitted it,will also send that, not sure about the other one think it just needs re-calibrating. i expect all 3 could be fixed no problem at all with some one who actually knows what theyr doing! ill alsp throw in an end cap for a mk1 8ft collar and a load of batteries for collars, if you see the prices these are fetching on ebay this is an absolute bargain! the

iv recently been buying gin traps, old rabbit and rat/stoat square jaw types,, but im buying 3 round jaw types with the pointier teeth, are these the older types ? does anyone know much about this subject, and does anyone on this site own a man trap ? or an old spring gun used by the old game keepers, ? be nice to here off someone educated a bit more than me about this subject, im getting obsessed with old trap / memrobelier thanks in advance !

dont milk go straight through them though ??? iv been giving the mum plenty of meat, and egg york, she still likes the biscuits alpha ferret feast, and a tiny bit of winalot dog food now and again, but in it strange that when the other jill with no kits is in with the other jill and her kits , i open the door and shes the only one to let off a stink, the mum is fine, but theyr all doing great now, noisy feckers, ill have the council banging on me door soon lol

yes theyr all fine mate, the hob was polecat and jill is albino, 6 are dark colour and 2 white, 5 hobs 3 jills, i put my other jill in with them , as she grew up with the mother jill, they all cuddle up fine, the saraget mum licks the kits ect, helping out but i dont think shes prodcing milk ? i had a look earlier and the were all cuddled up together, but all the kits were suckling on the mum, so iv pulled her back out, when i open the cage the mum is 100% ok with me, and so is my other jill, but the jill that has no kits just cuddles them lets off a scent every time, a bit mad

i had 2 jills living in the same cage for months, 1 come in season, so i mated her, then the other ferret came into season 3 weeks later, the 1st jill caught, the second jill didnt as far as im aware,, the 1st jill had 9 kits , then 1 died, 8 left, every time i open the cage the mother keeps running over to the other jills cage and dragging her by the neck into where her kits are, (strange) anyway i kept splitting them up , untill tonight, i let her in with the other jills kits, thery were all completly fine together, EVERYONE was relaxed

i didnt have a good season at all this year, but have got half a rabbit left lol, will drop that in see what happens,, my best working jill might get a second or 2 rest, cheers for that though, all the info helps thanks the one,

all it needs is a battery terminal, one piece is missing, ( on a battery is 2 coil things to connect to a connector, on the finder box 1 is missing ,, thats all ,,,,,,,,,,,,so needs a new one solderd on, otherwise in exellent condition! offers ?

agree completly, no bushing terrier should be off bushing 3 fields away or how ever far it goes it should stay relativly close to the owner or the dogs that its working with, probally not much training gone into it, but like been said before you know it, the terrier will be lost or some where it shouldnt be .... give it time, iv never had this problem so apart from what iv just said be carefull with it, a bit on the loose side if you ask me,

here in newport s wales, in most parts the whites are a minority, theyv been buying houses next door to each other and moving the whole family friends cousins in, and theres so many of them buying corner shops, i walk past them with my dog everyday some where or other, and every single paki or asain will look at me as if im scum, they go over board to move away from the dog, as in theyr religion iv been told if a dog touches them, they have to go home change theyr clothes and scrub them selves, and thats genuine ! fcuking unbelivable

thought it was just me lol iv a very simalar sort of habbit and it drives me nuts absolutly bonkers, i try not to do it but it eats away at me, untill i give in, lol ,i think its a behavoural problem ?
