  12. I can agree with that! Simon's is such a lovely rifle, II think that when mine was serviced it had an OX spring put in it, But its not shooting too bad at all at the moment. Are these birds a bit thick? i have a some on my permission, its so difficult not to give them a pellet between the eyes when they just waddle onto the field right in front of you when your sat in the trees and start feasting on the oil seed that has just been laid. The permission holder has given me the go to take a few, but i could so easily walk away with 5-6 in less than an hour. beautiful colored birds..........just not that clever bless em Regards Dean

  16. I have only gone and bought a PCP Its a FX typhoon T1 in .177 flavor with a BSA Deer hunter 8-32x44 scope. I had never heard of FX air rifles before, but with a bit of advice from the fine chaps on here, I took the plunge and bought it! Its is second hand, but the stock is almost unmarked and in great condition-it really is a lovely bit of tree. The rifle had just been serviced, came with a 3 month warranty, scope, fully topped up tank, gun bag,and a tin of RWS super field pellets so cannot really complain! The rifle feels solid and well built, is light and easy to use,-it has alre

  18. Hello all, Just to say thank you to Simon for taking me out onto his permission today and sharing some of his shooting experience with me, I feel that my shooting has benefited greatly! The day started with a zero session and some plinking on the range set up in one of the fields, Simon showed me where i was going wrong with my shooting, and then proceeded to demonstrate how it was done properly, shooting empty shotgun shells, splitting sticks, and shooting the ring-pull off of a Red bull can all at over 70 yards in the wind!   23. yea single shot, Its second hand, It is a nice rifle but i am abit unsure on the fx reliability having never heard of them. Rabbits with a .177 will still be ok wont it? Regards dean
  24. Looked at a fx typhoon (t1) .177 BSA 8-32x44 tactical(?)scope and silencer.... Any good?? ive never herd of fx so am a bit unsure. Regards Dean
