    lets face it, a police dog is not a hunter, a terrier or a lapdog. It's bred and trained to grab people which can end in injuries. You can't really judge the dog....by all means criticize the handler for letting the dog loose! My own hunting dogs 'play' their hunting roles with each other and other members of my dog pack, which means chasing and grabbing/mouthing (my lurcher even plays/practises on my giant Ridgeback) so play often mimics work.

    To be fair, that dog is trained to chase and use its teeth on people. I've known some police dog handlers who say that when their dogs are chasing, the best thing for anyone to do (including other rozzers) is stand still rather than run (as instinct might dictate). The handler needs a good professional kicking though !

    About 15 years ago I was on a bit of a partying drinking session with some mates, but one wasn't drinking because of work the next day. We decided it would be cool to head for the coast with more beer in a transit, tunes banging out at 1.00am. All went well until we came across a roadworks truck with blokes dropping cones out in the road a few hundred yards ahead. It seemed the thing to do at the time, to helpfully collect all the nasty cones they'd dropped and return them by overtaking the slow moving truck and drop them off a bit in front.     So whats the big deal over horse meat? I can understand the annoyance over eating one meat having been told its another, but I for one wouldn't be even a tiny bit green about eating horse. After all, they are a good old fashioned herbivore that grazes and packs on muscle. If we rode cows I suppose nobody would eat beef! What are your views?

    Hi folks can anyone offer a ratting session or two for my young but very keen patterdale terrier in north bucks/bedfordshire/northants? I'm not looking to pinch anyones permission or anything crap like that! I can offer a spot of pigeon shooting or foxing etc in return as and when the 'doos turn up. Tonnes of foxes to go at though over a couple of thousand acres. Many thanks! Duncan

    Thanks for all the kind (?!) sentiments guys and I'm happy to report that I've come to my senses and will be keeping the Vin Diesel look . After all, if a good looking gal says she likes a shaved head, it can't be so bad eh? Could be worse...could have hair like the eldest sons!
