    deerhound/greyhounds were used on the fens long before the saluki,ive a bitch here that does 3 out of 3 local,(pre ban)and she has kiled them on the fens,

    takes a good dog to take deer regaular ive seen most lurchers take them (pre ban)deerhound/lurcher saluki/lurcher bull/lurcher collie lurcher most will take to the job well if entred correctly
