Got fac air on my ticket can't decide on what to get though would have had your rapid if it was .22

I'm not shotgun expert either why would you say bigger? I was thinking a smaller cartridge as I only wanted it for close range bunnies that poo out a hedge row on a bit of land I have been given permission that wouldn't really be safe for my .22lr

Hi there I have a firearms cert but want to apply for shotgun cert. would you recommend applying for a conterminous one? And would I have to pay £50 or £60?

The gunsmith was gob smacked too mate. It does have recoil but nothing different to any other springer I have had.

It sure is a little cracker hobble cheers! But to be fair not much left of the original gun and I was very suprised at the power was expecting 10 at best.

Just had a mark 6 .177 back from the gun shop after having all internals replaced and all new seals. Now it has some punch for a little gun. I got this for my nephew and he is bouncing with excitement but at that power I might take a coil of the spring as its a bit tasty to cock. However next to no recoil and I must say first time I fired a meteor since I was a kid the trigger is bloody lovely!

Good comments guys. I had a go with one I was thinking about at local gun shop. Recoil didn't seem that sharp it's running at 25 not 30 tho and the dealer recommended to drop it to 20 if I took it. Have been stewing over it but the comments of it going through standard scopes has put me right off now!

Tell me about it. A deer and a fox within a hour tho? I have only ever seen 3 foxes on my permission in the past 2 years may have explained lack of bunny sightings tho!

Finally managed to get out with the .22lr not held my ticket for too long and still got plenty of rounds left from the first and only brick of 500 I bought most of then have been spent on targets in the field as nothing has been about for a long while. Got to my permission and as usual of late more wildlife in my back garden. Sat in wooded area for around 45 minutes and out of no where a deer appears deciding to wander around about 50 yards ahead. Spent about ten minutes just watching it before it disappears. One of those situations where I'm sure if I had a large calibre rifle would n

Gas ram /spring. Something you cock as opposed to fill. I am fully aware alot of guns can be tuned up to fac I am asking to buy one not get schooled on them lol

Including bag, trolley, razor putter that cost me £50 and hardly used. 3-SW irons, loft wedge. Selection of woods including utility wood. Wanting a decent spring rifle for the full set up! Can even chuck in spiked shoes as new if wanted. Not played golf in a while so this is a nice set collecting dust.

I was advised not to clean my 22lr at all. Is this correct? Also been told never to use wd40 if I was to clean use a silicone spray! No expert just what I was told by gun smith when I asked same question. He told me to occasionally clean around the breach and magazine but to stay clear of the rifle as leading will be enough lube it needs.

I had an s400 classic once, took it into gun shop to get filled as I was a cheap skate and didn't want to buy my own tank. I got an comment as they said it was shooting 15, I told them to sort it as they had sold me the gun. Turns out that a torque screw on the side had come loose and turned it up.(not sure the truth in that). The scary thing was that if mr plod took it away my excuse of not owning a chrono would have been laughed at! Luckily enough I have a FAC air slot free on my ticket so worse comes to worse you could always give me the gun lol.

I may be wrong and missing something but i wouldn't believe a genuine tx200 spring could give you 25ftlb unless you made some serious mods. was there any packaging with a name on the spring. A lot of springs such as ox springs claim to be direct replacements but have been known to take it over 12ftlb. I'm sure someone on here with more knowledge than myself will point you in the right direction. But you have done right to take it out!

I would take it back to shop mate they sold you one un-fit for use. Try and get a genuine AA spring for the rifle mate. Stay away from power like that mate! What make was the spring? And to be fair mate 10ftlb is not a major loss in power and will do what's needed for a sub 12 rifle. If you want it nearer 12 and unsure as to why you have got a dramatic power increase I would just get the gun smiths to do it. That way they are in the wrong if they hand it over to you over 12ftlb and I can't see them doing that. Although from them selling you a spring for your tx that gave you 25ftlb I'm

Luckily enough the shop has a bit of a range so at least I can have a play and see what I think, I'm in no rush to take the fac air slot up on my ticket but I think spring will be the way forward!
