    Hi all, trying to hunt down a supplier of the above for a 80s sirocco i am stripping qnd cleaning as its dieseling and very snappy. The actual seal doesnt look too bad but seems very hard as if the heat has cooked it solid. Unless this is generally how they come? any advice much appreciated on where to hunt these parts down

    You clearly can use it on the range, but in limited circumstances for limited purposes, general target shooting not being one of them. What are the limited circumstances and purposes? When does zeroing become target shooting? The said club have got back to me and I asked the question around ammo they just said they would check but they sell 50 rounds for £3 so guess I'll just purchase theirs and be done with any risk lol. Off down on to visit on Sunday and they said can take my rifle and read club rules prior. I'll leave my Winchester subs at home :-)

    Just checked my cert and seems that I'd be inclined to read it as expanding ammo for vermin only.... "The certificate holder may possess, purchase or acquire expanding ammunition, or the missiles of such ammunition, in the calibres authorised by this certificate and use only in connection with the shooting of vermin or, in connection with. The management of any estate, other wildlife"

    Sounds like a mixd repsonse :-). Like you say though I'm thinking will improve my field game as mostly shoot alone and never been out with anyone with FAC experience. Must say bar getting my zero set up and knocking bunnies over within 100 ft my abilities ar limited being self taught lol. Is the expanding ammo piece just not approved for FAC holders that don't hunt? Or is it that clubs don't let you use it? Not sure my local shop sells anything bar Winchester and cc hollow points. Don't think I'll ever need a CF for the shooting I do (mainly bunnies) but can't say I would say no to tr

    Evening all, I have only ever shot out in the field but since moving away from air rifle to my rimfire I have thought about joining a club as I suspect I would vastly improve my skills from the range? Do many of you guys go to ranges alongside hunting? Are rough round the edges bunny basher often welcomed into a range?
