I think it's just the not knowing that puts people off, They are a credit to the sport and i can honestly say even if I was knocked back for any reason I would not feel put out as they have been very helpfull all the way through sent a few emails regarding cabinet locations and references always got a fast phone call back from some very polite people!
Or not as the case may be, just put in for my fac air he came round and was a total gent fine with my cabinet/ammo safe( put in ammo safe for future intentions of applying for .22lr) I was under impression that it would be a few years yet! Although he looked at my land and wrote it down on my application and said he will recommend I should get both!
So for all others worrying about their visit DON'T!
Just the dreaded wait to see the answer!
Fingers crossed then, I'm hoping now it's at the stage of my interview they happy with everything else land, refrences etc. although I put fac air .22 Down on the form will this limit me to that calibre or could I get 1.77 .20 .22 .25?
Yeah I heard that, but on the other hand it only worth about £300 and don't think I'd get much of a fac for that, I have looked around an to say they loose value a cheaper one is hard to come buy
Has anyone ever turned up a hornet to fac, what sort of limit before the gun takes a strain and what is the shot count like?
Before anyone jumps down my neck about legal limit I currently own a hornet and have just applied for my fac and if it's granted I want to know if it's worth taking it to turn up or just buy a fac rifle
Dog vixen did you want pictures or just fancied leaving a sarcastic comment on how to sell the gun? If anyone wants an ultra pm me if not don't bother wasting my time
Hi all I need a little bit of advice I have the feo coming on Wednesday and just fitted my gun cabinet. I have made a bit of a mistake in marking one of the holes and could not get the anchor bolt in on the bottom left. However I have 3 others holding it to the wall m10 and 2 directly to the floor. It is going nowhere but would they be funny it's only got five bolts not 6.
Also I was a wondering that now I have got the visit does this mean they happy with all the checks, references land approval etc? Its for a fac air rifle.
Starting to realise why I struggled for so long, but I have met some cracking guys on here. In the great scheme of things I'm still a newbie in a lot of ways.
Dont get me wrong I am keeping the land to myself, my offer is for someone to tag along. No introductions will be made to owners and if anyone were to go on the land other than with me they would be doing so without me or land owners consent and would be in deep shit! I have been contacted by two people now and will happily take them out. But if anyone wants their own land they just have to keep knocking doors!
As above £45 brand new recieved as a replacement from my old one that broke although already bought a new one as couldn't be without a scope. Will use it put towards a gun cabinet if anyone has one for sale
