    Well been putting it off long enough So stripped it right back took all the oil out of it and Sanded it back And sprayed it silver Hahahaha naaaa But I am going to tru oil it I know its a walnut stock but iv all ways wanted to do it So I am this stock has some cracking grain in it but the stock is dark wood iv lightened it up a touch Just want to see if the tru oil will make the grain stand out Atvbjimmy ???

    Could not get the solder to take think the soldering iron is on its way out so opted for super strength glue with activator Sets like weld lol Tried to snap it off and could not But put tape around just incase Will be getting blade tomorrow And another coat of blue Just to darken it a little more Atvbjimmy ???

    Going for an fx blade to day sometime But going to solder it on first to give it a bit more strength Was on the net last night And Philpot For hours Either not available or out of stock So this is the only fix for it now Atvbjimmy ???

    Same stav if her indoors is not shouting at me I know iv done some thing wrong ? Any way Iv been racking my brain (not a good thing to do since the strokes but it never worked any way ?) Fix Duck tape Had a trigger stem off the verminator that snapped (don't ask) So fitted the stem to what was left with duck tape Need a more permanent and secure Fix mind But it works a treat lol Atvbjimmy ???

    I'll get it sorted stav Iv worked so hard on it No way it's going to be an ornament But I'm going to keep her For my 14yr old nephew Iv got his hw99 here and it's too snappy for him this will be just right for him Life long cumbrian has done a cracking job on the internals It is so nice to shoot Iv not touched them at all and as this will live here any way I'll get to use it to lol Atvbjimmy ???

    Sooo pi**d off stav Put loads of work into it Got the stock the way I wanted it Got the Bluing nearly right Put it together Loaded it as you do fired it off and It snapped it went off But the trigger just snapped No tension or any thing Don't know what went wrong But a new trigger from John nibs is £65 Still it's still a cheap rifle I suppose But she is stunning lol So not finished yet It was mind it was lol Atvbjimmy ???

    Well lads just about done Scopes only for show lads Some thing missing See if you can see it To be honest I'm proper p***d off Put a lot of work into this rifle Now it's going to cost me around 68 quid for a second hand one Any way here she is Atvbjimmy ???

    You can do But I just oil it up Using ballista oil keeps the rust at bay Atvbjimmy ???

    It was rough But that don't mean nothing to me lol Bluing was bad so I painted it And cleaned the walnut stock up Was going to blue it but the more I stripped the old Bluing off the more I liked it lol The stock took some doing mind It had some thing spilt on it when it was in the shed Took a lot of work to get it out Never did find out what it was Mind Atvbjimmy ???

    3rd coat on now Not going to knock it back with wire wool Going to use 400 grit wet and dry Before I put the next coat on Or may be put 4 coats on then wet and dry it Atvbjimmy ???

    To be honest I don't know if I like it I'll wait until iv put a few coats on And see what I'm going to do And I may just keep this one For my self But I must of sayd that about every one iv done But the old airsporter I did Gets me every time Really wished I had kept that rifle Really do ???     On the 120 grit at the moment Then it will be wet and dry to get it as smooth as possible Going to leave the pistol check dark Think it will have a nice affect Atvbjimmy ???

    Sure am Tom but iv opted for a bark brown stain That has a touch of red in it this time That's what I was told any way Still a long way to go on the stock yet smoothing it out takes ages lol But I'm in no rush Atvbjimmy ???

    Walnut after u have rubbed it over with 0000 wire wool And the same with beech after u have Sanded it back Walnut it removes the old oil but use the soap suds to wash it You want the water not hot but not to cold either skot Not done a laminate stock before so can't comment on that one Atvbjimmy ???

    Cheers deker Lot of work did go into it Just ordered a silver pod for it And silver scope with silver mounts Just need a silver mod now Atvbjimmy ???
