    It was rough But that don't mean nothing to me lol Bluing was bad so I painted it And cleaned the walnut stock up Was going to blue it but the more I stripped the old Bluing off the more I liked it lol The stock took some doing mind It had some thing spilt on it when it was in the shed Took a lot of work to get it out Never did find out what it was Mind Atvbjimmy ???

    3rd coat on now Not going to knock it back with wire wool Going to use 400 grit wet and dry Before I put the next coat on Or may be put 4 coats on then wet and dry it Atvbjimmy ???

    To be honest I don't know if I like it I'll wait until iv put a few coats on And see what I'm going to do And I may just keep this one For my self But I must of sayd that about every one iv done But the old airsporter I did Gets me every time Really wished I had kept that rifle Really do ???     On the 120 grit at the moment Then it will be wet and dry to get it as smooth as possible Going to leave the pistol check dark Think it will have a nice affect Atvbjimmy ???

    Sure am Tom but iv opted for a bark brown stain That has a touch of red in it this time That's what I was told any way Still a long way to go on the stock yet smoothing it out takes ages lol But I'm in no rush Atvbjimmy ???

    Walnut after u have rubbed it over with 0000 wire wool And the same with beech after u have Sanded it back Walnut it removes the old oil but use the soap suds to wash it You want the water not hot but not to cold either skot Not done a laminate stock before so can't comment on that one Atvbjimmy ???

    Well he wanted to learn how to look after his rifle and what it involves To keep on top of it So told him to bring his rifle up and I'd teach him Now me and Sean are showing him the ropes on the farm and how to shoot and hunt So this is the next step Atvbjimmy ???

    Not happy with the Bluing So took it off for now I think the Bluing liquid has been contaminated with water So I'll be buying some new Bluing I want the same as the Bluing I used on the Diana that si sent up for me Hoppies Bluing kit But can't find it any where Just comes up with not for sale here any more So if any one knows of a good cold Bluing let me know ASAP Cheers lads Atvbjimmy ???
