    altberg... ones on the left are my work boots...'best'.... ones on the right are 4 years old, been in super hot to freezing climates.... and they just keep on going after a layer of polish

    went through to rm2508's and had a wee walk out with the dogs. missing my young lurcher who was at home with her injury.... ended up playing rugby with a burst basketball until the whippet the back of my arm while RM ended up dragging the pack about.... then headed out to geoxx28 (or something ) and had an hour on the lure with our dogs.... seen this auld guy with a few collies and a couple of deerhounds....invited him over for a couple of runs and he loved it! videos from the lure today.... http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=Jj8bEh5_PNI

    cant go wrong with any altberg boots but the sneekers arr superlight.... the 'microlite' version is even lighter but be cautious the microlites are jungle boots.... so not waterproof...ideal for summer though to keep your feet aired out.

    im writing this with a light hearted tone......at the end of the day, its only a catapult so, i bought some bands off this guy...and he asked to see what cattys i made...so i sent him a few pics of mine. just checked ebay...and there is the (almost) exact replica of one of my cattys his version. and my 'original'.... just made me laugh.. its not such a big deal.... but hes got some neck on him

    go for the bandsets far easier to work with and use. waste of time faffing about cutting elastic and pouches for a couple of cattys. different if your making them by the hundreds

    my ferret nearly killed himself with one of them coop cups. got the dish loose and lodged it in the hole joining the 2 levels.....subsequently hanging himself. the wife found him and luckily revived him

    Our boys landed back on british soil yesterday.... Carried off the plane with PRIDE.

    In my opinion.... its bestto look at the guys that wear their boots 24/7....the squaddies. Altberg and lowa.....are top draw Lowas are indestructable....tough as fcuk.....great grip.....but quite heavy. Lowa combat....non goretex.... expect to pay around the 135 mark Altberg are british.....its all i wear....very light....great boots. Go for the 'sneekers' or the 'warriors'....amazing boots..... Expect to pay around the 145 mark..... Ive worn all boots...in all conditions.....in all places... And its altberg for me 100%

    So, after making my own longnet (out of sheet netting).... Some great offers for hazel poles and endpins from 2 generous members .... Means i have the netting and gear to do a traditional. But... What the bloody hell is one Got a rough idea.... net with a top and bottom line, poles up and top line kept tight by the endpins..... But thats all i know... Would someone care to elaborate......please

    Im using 8mm? Lead ammo....again, a gift off atomlab: And some 9.5mm's..... the singles are slinging them at a rapid rate....so singles for me.... Unless i want to look 'hard' then ill use doubles
