    i phoned sky because my box wasnt working... got rasheed or something who sounded like he was reading me chapters of the koran everytime he spoke..... so i put the phone down. got a call back shortly after from 'muhammed' who spoke better english and asked why i put the phone down....so i told him... he proceeded to tell me i had to pay a 60pound call out charge which i refused........ ok...40....he said.....'nope'! ok give me a minute....he came back with '20'? 'nope' i replied...'cancel my subscription and ill go with virgin'..... ok ok mister....how does 15 pound

    ive got one for sale buddy. finished it the other day. 18mm multiplex...this one wont break! 23 quid. single bands so ideal for kids. my 3 year old can fire these.

    I made a 15 yard net....didnt have any end pins for it..... So in one end i use a small hazel pole with a hole drilled into it.... The other was a short length of steel iron bar...to collect the net in on. Seems to work good enough..... Just waiting on the end pins arriving and will replace them. Seems my motto of late is.... "you do what you can....with what youve got".

    Cheers guys.not sure if she will ever work again.... Maybe one day she might be fit enough..... but im not sure if i have the balls to slip her.... Dont know if she could run wrapped in cotton wool Im honestly not sure.... im thankful to have her here today....sat by my imaginary fire

    looking through previois threads i seen this. ive got 5" round end pins.....which i like... seen the square ones...which seem to make no difference... made me think....wouldnt the ideal shape be like a peardrop? to keep the cord running through one part of the pin....and running on the floor for the footline?

    read in the book...take small length onto the endpin... and it seems to have wrapped up nicely.... ran it out a few times....and it works a treat. very surprised how good it runs off the pins.... just need a 'bodkin'? needle to sort the loose end of cord out.... just tied it for now. thanks for the positive comments... can only get better.

    i have improved a little....ive made enough ive took a few with it mate...pigeons...squirrels...crows and next doors cats had a few sore arses theyre real fun...powerful and concealable Killed and missed a load of fence posts as well sorted that right out

    gotta start somewhere....and i gave it a go...with what i had bit after some advice and guidance... ive made this. its a lot better

    tried rigging a traditiinal last night....but as i was pulling the cord through the loops i ran out of cord....and it slipped through all the top meshes....baastard! tried fixing it...though id done it....until when i ran the net out....and seen the cord had missed LOADS of the top meshes. thinking what i could do.... i took some inner strands of paracord and tied every mesh that was missed onto the topline....didnt look good....and after and hour of tying i had enough.... left it at that.... my ocd was pecking me all night....needed to fix it somehow! so ran the net out...and

    .... meaning....im happy with the product i recieved.... but cant tell you the quality...as ive never used this TYPE of netting before ..... only the spun nylon.

    i dont know mate....never used this netting before....so wouldnt know whats good and bad......my purse nets are spun nylon.... hasnt knotted yet....
