Nah mate...you're made of sterner stuff...what you've been through in the past few weeks would be tougher than any of the canine tragedies I've had to cope with...you'da picked yourself up along with the pieces and coped with it.
I lost a really talented greyhound bitch just the week before Xmas...shattered a foreleg in action...totally horrific...felt numb and physically sick...first thought was to deal with the situation as quickly and humanely as possible...and there was certainly a cloud over the festivities in our house...that lifts though and things get back to normal...

just back. 4 hour drive...loads for the dogs but not too much for buying stuff...
had a great weekend....would go back with the wee man tomorrow if it wasnt so far away....

came back around 9.30 with the whippet and she gave chase to one that hit the net.
mission accomplished....

had a go at making a CHEAP catapult...
apart from the natural forks and stolen wood ....
found these spatulas....nice and flat....so i gave it a go....
basic cutting and a little rounding the edges with a dremmel or a bit of sandpaper....
easily finished....and banded with some super light bands...
you can see how thin it is...around 5mm....
which can easily fit in your back back pocket....or wallet
compared to a card...
this is a PFS (pickle fork shooter) style...so not good for beginners as you have to flip the shot....
