If you're looking for an o/u I'd recommend a secondhand baikal. Cheap and won't let you down You'll have more than enough to buy anything else ie decoys, calls, clothes etc

There were definately a few droppers, he also has Remington subs and Remington HV's, which were better at that range

Went out today to zero a friends rifles... .22 CZ452 and .243 Ruger. Started the .22 at 16 meters, hitting it bang on with the subs. Then used the .243 at 100 meters. Got that sorted, then picked up the .22 again and said 'watch this' Well, to be honest it wasn't a bad grouping at all, but considering it was clear with no wind whatsoever, I was expecting a lot more. It wasn't my shooting as the .243 was bang on... I know some people have this idea that beyond 70 yards with a .22 is 'impossible' (bollocks), but who has used the CCI's before and what do you think? I know there'

I'd worry more about the temperature mate, as long as its around 2/3 degrees C you should be fine no matter what you use

The blokes good because he explains everything in an easy way, and as he says he deals with facts instead of speculating on what may have happened. There's a lot of other sites that deal with this stuff mate keep looking

Hi all, just bought a brilliant book called 'Self Sufficiency; a practical guide for modern living' by Liz Wright. Very good book, all the usual info but would be a good reference for anyone to have. Also, who wrote the other book about self sufficiency (the famous one)? Is it recommended? Cheers.

Because I don't believe in conspiracy theories I try and deal with something that has facts surrounding it It is an issue amongst the tin foil hat brigade... All I can say is I try and sit on the fence and make my own mind up about things, rather than question everything to be an awkward Cnut as is the fashion nowadays

A driver said yesterday the problem is that agencies are hiring guys without the proper qualifications, paying less so getting most of the jobs from the bigger oil companies. I think they're using h+s as a cover, they're really just worried about the influx of underqualified drivers so want the bar set a bit higher.
