    Well I'm only 15 yrs old and I have grown up round lurchers my dad had loads over the years he uses to take me out on a walks with him and the dogs and I used to walk the little whippet cross he had that got me intrested in the lurcher as they stood out from other dogs then I watched the dogs working when I was seven and I got my first pup last year and i never used to be out around the village as it's boring as f*ck but now Im never without a lurcher by my side always have one by me lol I went out to get my sister from the park and a couple of people asked if my dog was ok because he wasn't w

    she will need to bond more as said have treats with you and the tennis court is a good idea I went on a football one with fences all round that worked wonders When your on the court take the lead off her get her to sit then tell her go play let her walk and smell around then call her back by bouncing a tennis ball infront of you and call her name when she comes back get her to sit then throw the ball for her to retrive Atb pal

    A lurcher cross was started with a greyhound cross collie or terrier this started the lurcher cross but doesn't mean that the collie or terrier is the most important part of the lurchers breed because over the years lurchers have been improved by adding saluki for stamina and bull for strenght and toughness and adding whippet for acceleration ect so really all the different breeds in a lurcher are all important each to there own J/D
