  1. ive got the option of using a bitch pup out of buster and a bull/grey if i wanted to breed a pup for myself. i would put birds buck over her Trigg.... Not telling you how to suck eggs or owt, but if you went down that road wouldn't you end up with something very similar to the young dog now ? yep build wise. the bitch i could use dont lack any speed by all acounts. and buck aint exactly a slow dog. i like to take a punt. theres some good greyhound blood in both buck and the bitch aswell. but like i said earlier i would prefer to buy in. its just a option and a thought at the moem

  12. thats something ive got to give some consideration. i havent got the room for them all. ive got my 13year old dog here, buster thats 7 in febuary. so ive got a dog to see me through this season with buster. That's a shame mate, after your original plan didn't work out & now this. At least you can get through this season ;-) Is there racier pups in that litter? ben looks plenty racey enough but he just aint got the pace, he works fine just lacks that bit of pace

  14. i am looking for a new pup as the young dog i have now just simply hasnt got the pace i need, so ive made the desicion to cut my losses and look for another pup to bring on. the pup ive got here now is just turned 18 months. i am looking for a pre ban allround type of dog 25tts plus just incase the ban gets lifted, if anyone is planning or knows to anyone thats planning any future matings would you be kind enough to let me know. i like my herding types generally but my be willing to give a plain old lurcher to lurcher bred dog ago providing its from good working parents. ideally i want
  15. did he have egg on his face ? no mate but he ended up with a lead ear ring.
  16. What do you reckon ....... i dont believe that socks. those cute cuddly little foxes dont harm a soul.
  17. as has already been said foxes deffinatly take new born lambs, seen it myself when i worked on a farm as a young lad. personally i dont think they have any noticable impact on rabbit numbers. i know to a fox that got into a laying shed with 6000 hens he had got to have been in there at least all night by the time he was discovered. and the fecker never even killed a chicken why that was i will never know.
  18. there are a couple of folk asking in front of you mate via pm. i will look into it but i aint keen on posting stuff to folk.

  20. ive just been looking through my lamping cupboard and ive got a tracer 10amp lithium battery that i brought 2 seasons ago, ive only used it for about half a season before buying a led lamp which i am more than happy with. ive got the battery, box, mains charger, for some reason i have 2 in car chargers in the box. i havent charged the battery since the last time i used it and its reading full charge still. if anyone is interested then i am after £50 for it collection only. craven arms area. price on the box is 149.95. not sure what a new one is priced at in todays market.
  21. if its a larger breed of dog then it may well be slower at maturing enough to cock its leg. they are all different ive got 2 dogs i run here at the moement 1 cocked his leg at 6 months the other at 11 months.
