It already been said no close season for rabbits, we only stop for the respect for the breeding season unless you are making a living out of it. Yes Ray she's leggy stand 12 inches tall. Out in the field she's none stop its like having a 4 legged bullet in cover.

I make my own purse nets 18 meshes wide & 20 rows down with a 2.1/8 mesh board. I start off with 12 meshes wide then finish with 12 meshes. 12 14 16 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 18 16 14 12.

Whats with this so called eu x. Me personally I don't see the point why would people want to breed in the bad traits from the eu polecat. When people spend generations of breeding out bad traits to get the ideal ferret to work. Hot Meat im with you on this one they can give me a decent normal ferret any day. But saying that I to do help other but I don't expect nothing less back. -

Iv'e said it before and i'll say it again R M that's a cracking terrier that you have there, got a new one as well and so far so good, atb daywalker Thanks mate I made my mind up to keep 2 pups back in the end from my litter of 4 out of my Russell the ones in the middle

Not a cross I am sure many have done, I have come across many Terrier/collie from farm dogs. They look ideal. They suit us mate, that's all that counts to me I only ever seen one when I was in my teens. If my memory serves me right it was 3/4 terrier 1/4 Collie it was more terrier than collie anyway, it was 17 inches tall & one handy little dog around cover it wasn't a bad ferreting dog to.
