    i have ferrets to do the job on the rabbits if i like the colour it just a plus .will colour get the rabbits out faster no i have a bew hob but hes not picked him for his colour but because he is a nice sized hob ( SMALL ) and his kit are small too only people who show ferrets care what colour they are ,silver and what ever other colour they can come up with . showing ferrets is all up anyway have you seen the F***ING size of some of the ferrets they show they WOULD NOT GET DOWN A F***ING RABBIT HOLE THEY ARE AS BIG AS A SMALL DOG

    if your good at something then you can from time to time get paid for it but they are one offs norm . i have paid too ferret ,shoot shotgun , and 22rf and i have been paid for ratting more times than ever this year at £50 per terrier per day by a breeder of gamebirds and next year looks the same but all the ferreting and shooting will be free the big boss man loves too see the terriers at work at rats .

    they can go over 42 day by 2 or 3 days just leave alone she will be ok . the more you go in the more you will put her off and dont go in the nest when she as had them tiil they are nocking about ( about 3 or 4 weeks )

    if my paterdale was that unfit well it would not be working with me for long and as for your EBT he needs a lot more walking than you do with him befor you take him work at anything he looks like a good walk and and a run around would kill him off EBT can be very fit dog but dont take him he will not last and how long as EBT been earth dogs

    the blood will go a pinkie colour at around 12 to 14 days thats the time to put the dog to her then mate her up again 2 day after the fist mating then she is 9 weeks till the pups are on the ground with a bit of luck . all the best of luck with it all mate hope it all gos well for you .keep us all posted

    i had a pat bitch that was for rabbiting and you could not keep her from going to earth and i had a collar on but one day she when to earth and found a black and white wicth gave her one hell of a kicking when we got her out ( dug her out ) i could never stop her looking for black and white and i had to pass her on to a frends dad who wonted a pet and he cant let her off the lead . but saying that all the pats i have had will go to earth even try to get down to the rabbits its in ther blood .i have only had pats and jrt so cant say for the rest ( patterdales are little f***ers for it )

    i take my dogs ( paterdales ) bushing and lots of road walking and ratting bescause rattig season never ends .when they go bushing they will nail a young rabbit from time to time witch keeps them happy and fit

    never has a bad paterdale terrier they will do the job that you wont them to do but i would go for a wheeler pat because i the ones i have had are as hard as f**king as nails never work anything but so can not say about the rest

    well said , the one . there are too many people willing to kick any one and look on the bad side of every thing we all try to do and if its that big people will not do it any way for fear of beinng busted or loosing ther best ferret and it would be hard work witch would put a lot of people off ( well girls away who dont do hard work they let the man of the house do it all )

    its all about the team work .you have ferrets,dogs ,man are one team . i have turned land down were the dog was not welcome no dog then i dont ferret the land .why spend time get the dog to do the job if hes at home with the miss watching the soaps on tv

    it will be even harder if the moneymen get ther hands on the working terrier you wait and see IT IS STILL VERY HARD TO FIND A GOOD WORKING LINE OF ANY TERRIER have the money men not already got ther hands on well known working lines some of the best dogs i have seen have came out of yards that havnt got a name for therself and keep ther self to therself anyone agree ??? thats right you can get dog that way but were did they get them from ??
