  7. Just a wee note from the wise on this site.I have sat back and read from afar for 2 long Wireviz if u had been wearing Real tree up at Coursehouse Farm maybe you wouldn't have been spotted poaching the ground and the visit from the police prevented. I have monitored your post's on many of the sites and you seem to want to wind folk up and have silly idea's about deer stalking and clothing. Realtree is one of the best clothing for deer stalking. Wireviz/longshot you cannot comment about lamping the less said the better :clapper: :clapper: :clapper: :clapper: :clapper: :clappe
  8. I have seen my whippet and my terrier eating blackberries of the bush since they were pups, but, today I couldn't believe my eyes when they were both eating sloes straight of the branch. At first I thought they were just smelling them, and on closer inspection they seemed to be biting them one after the other, but, when I looked even closer the whippet at least was actually pulling them off and eating them.I guess we have all tried the dreaded sloe at one time or another, and,we all know how dry and sour they are,so,why the hell would she be eating them?? Has anyone heard of it before? Martin.
  9. You are a truly talented man 'MM' good luck with it all mate...............Martin.
  10. He is really looking good 'DG' well done to you, and, good luck with the babbie..............Martin.
  11. I have to say,the bigger threat still is the bloody Cormorants, there was a flight of about 12 over our way the other afternoon.............Martin.
  12. I may be wrong, and,if I am I am sorry, but,I have a feeling this is a picture of you Wireviz in your Tweeds and cords..................... I wasn't aware they done 'Realtree' tweeds mate.
  13. I haven't seen the teeth Waidmann so I will have to let 'FD' answer that one, but,as for the weight he was all of 20kg and most likely more, but,as he wasn't sold on and only went into our own freezers we didn't weigh him, but,he was a very bulky beast mate................Martin.
  14. When I find it I will put up a pic of him in velvet, cos he was in the valley for a while...........Martin.

  18. Perfect heart shot Bud(blew the Aorta right off),it does look a bit high in the pic,but if you look close and follow the ridge of the back along you will then see..............Martin.
  19. Lamping........Modelling.............is there no end to this blokes talents? Martin.
  20. 'QT' I use a .204cal and,it is a devastating fox round, but, again you do need to reload for them because of the price of the factory rounds.During practice sessions I have headshot rabbits out to nearly 200yds,and,unlike the .17 rem it isn't battered about by the wind, worth thinking about I would suggest, but, each to their own I say.............Martin.
  21. No offence to you mate but that "1011 Yards" bothers me. If he is that good why not "1010 yds, 2 ft, 10 inches"? When we're talking about seriously long range shooting I distrust figures that are too precise. !000 yds on a range no problem, the distance can be checked to within a fraction of a per-cent but in the field, even with a top-class laser rangefinder, claiming accuracy to the nearest yard over 1000 yds exceeds the accuracy of the measuring tool. Bloody good shooting though! Ric You can only say what the rangefinder says mate................Martin.
  22. I am not a medal hunter, but,as far as I know it is down to a few things........ weight colour symmetry and,as it is done by a human I guess there would be a fair amount of personal opinion as well. Martin. p.s. it currently weighs 535grms
