Don't be in a rush to buy a camera mate,get a round all of the camera shops in your area and see what second hand ones they have.I saw a D80(body only) for less than £500 the other week,so you can get some real bargains if you go down the second hand route.Dont forget though you will need lenses,so is the £600 for camera and lens?

I think everybody has their own little quirks when calling foxes,but,the basics are the same.I personally will change what I do on any given night,but,I almost always leave the lamp on the fox,unless it is really cagey,then I will sweep the field every 20-30 seconds.I only really use my own mouth to squeek,or,I might(rarely)use one of the long range calls from time to time.Just concentrate on the calling,as this is what gets them in,don't worry about doing it too loud,or on occassion very softly almost like a mouse,this sometimes brings them in so fast that you have to make a noise to stop the

Where do you get yours LY......Newavon Arms? They are a rip off in there,they nicked my brother-in-laws magazine and then tried to sell it back to him.He had a few words with them,and got it back,luckily.

I'd say she was a bit too young to be allowed to do anything,but,it wouldn't hurt to take him and let him see what goes on,just to give him an idea of what is expected.What is the make up of the pup mate?Th etrouble is that his bones/muscles/tendons/ligaments aren't formed properly yet,and you could do serious damage to the pup,so it's not worth it.Don't be tempted to rush the pup,let him be what he is (a growing playful puppy).Plenty of time,it's easier to break one than make one..............................Martin.

All good advice above mate,keep the training sessions short(5mins)and make them fun,don't over do it.I've got a whippet pup at the moment,and from day one it seemed she didn't need training(toilet wise)as she just went outside of her own,but the last few days 'bingo' back to square one.It's a bummer,but,it's also half of the fun of pups......isn't it??

I've got Alberts book(very interesting read)if you want to read it.I'll have it back when you kill yourself please.I would go for the hose pipe to the car exhaust,painless,and,once it's started that's it.Most people that really want to do it,do it like that.
