I had never seen a drop net before today,so this thread was very educating.How many of the galvanized steel poles are there to set up,and,if they are 8ft tall,how the hell do you knock them in the ground(hope this isn't a stupid question). I have rabbited with ferrets/dogs and guns all my life(49)and,I don't know anyone that uses a drop net in this area. Can you show some photo's of how the net is dropped into position please.

Surely the more your mate tries to type properly then the better his spelling will be,if not then there is spell checker! It's just used by lazy b*****ds ,and I don't use it while texting,not that I know how mind.The english language is a beautiful thing when used properly,did anyone see the programme about Stephen Fry last night,the bloke is a genius,as well as fecking funny.

By feeding them to dogs/ferrets you might inadvertantly be responsible for spreading the disease ,as,the fleas could change host(rabbit to ferret/dog and onto a rabbit on your next trip out).When I come across any mixy rabbits :sick: I just tie them up in a plastic bag,and dispose of accordingly,so as not to let the fleas change host.After all it spreads quick enough as it is.

I think the comments were made primarily to stop someone with not a lot of knowledge being drawn in to a bad(maybe-maybe not)mating,and,repopulating any number of rescues.
