    iv always used 2mm draw cord for my nets pal i dont think it really matters if its 3mm or 2mm just as long as the net closes up when a rabbit bolts into it

    me and the nephew went out lamping last night he is only 14 and he's been pestering me for ages to take him out lamping so last night i finally gave in as it was a good windy and rainy night so i decided to take him round the outskirts of the town where we live for a few rabbits theres not a great deal of rabbits there but theres enough to give the dog a desent run. the first field that we got to there was 5 rabbit in the dog got the first 3 we sent it for and missed the last 2 i was pritty pleased with the dog for catching them as he is really unfit at the moment we walked round a few more fi

    i just put straw in with mine i found that the jill would scrape all the wood shaving into the bed as well and make a nest with both the straw and wood shavings .

    iv got one when i first got it it was working fine really accurate but now i cant seem to get it to say less than 5ft iv tried new batterys but it still does the same thing it still locates the position of the ferret but not accurate on the depth so im back to using the old grey box.

    iv only had one of my live traps set just over a week and iv already had 2 in it i cover the floor of the trap with soil it seems to work for me.

    heres my patterdale he's about 3 year old the other dog is his son it a cross between the patterdale and a parson russel that i own

    hello pal all you need is the net material eg hemp, nylon, spun poly a mesh board and i use an 8 inch needle. you can buy net making kits to start with from birdport nets or aurthor carter or ebay they come with everything you'll need to make nets with think they cost around £25.

    just handle them as much as possible and it should be ok after a while i try to handle mine for about an hour a day.
